Have recent girl groups debuts changed your mind on 4th gen?

I'm liking the more unfiltered pop sound groups like Ive,Le Sserafim and now NewJeans seem to be bringing

IVE is pretty good

Yep, whenever a 4th gen gg has a comeback I try to check it out because there's always a few bops here and there.

But newjeans has really blown up my expectations, they're so good

Some 4th gen ggs are releasing good music like pixy, ive, Itzy, purple kiss and woo! ah!

I will wait for more nmixx comebacks before having an idea about their music

no, i got my hopes up a bit last year because of stayc and weeekly's releases, but this year has been horribly disappointing overall. the only 4th gen gg song i have on my 2022 playlist is love dive

4th gen was always great, I think it’s better than 3rd gen actually, I just think KPOP stans and netizen’s expectations became way to high for whatever reason

newjeans debut seems promising to me, min heejin is going full in for the concept.

Purple kiss is underrated they deserve more recognition especially them vocals. They should stick with that billie eilish eerie sound for a while to make it their signature.

Aespa, i had high hopes but sm should tone down the experimental sound a bit tbh, and teach more facial expression to them. Even illusion is better than girls.

Ive, their song is aight but what disturbs me is how wonyoung is being too OP.

Stayc and weeekly had potentials but the company went for wrong routes with them, hope they manage their signature sound a bit more for the next release rather than trying other sounds
