Is ITZY still a worthy investment for JYPE or are they more of a "bridging" group between generations like f(x) was between SNSD and Red Velvet?

If you were JYPE, would you continue investing into ITZY?

It seems like while they are still a decently popular group, coming from a BIG 3 company, they are somehow a step behind the 4th gen monster groups of AESPA, IVE and LSRFM.

At this point, their image, sound and music are already locked in, and there is an expectation of what their fans want out of them.

If you were JYPE, would you throw your money more to NMIXX now, or do you keep investing in ITZY?

Or are they not the main priority anymore, and have somehow became a transitioning group similar to how f(x) were to SME's SNSD and RV?

A group that's getting the most streams internationally amongst the 4th gen ggs and even a lot of bgs? hell yeah I would invest in that.

A girlgroup that sells a lot, have sould out show in minutes, huge brand deal... ofc i would stop investing on them only cuz of digitals in korea, obviously, pfff

They are more like an Fx, JYP seems more interested to push nmixx as much as they can rather than itzy, makes sense since they just debuted and itzy didn't meet the expectations even tho they are doing well.

And they should literally be one of JYP’s highest priorities because they’ve got the international stats and can easily pull their k-stats back up with a GP friendly song.

I would invest, but at the same time I think they are the bridging group between Twice and NMixx

Here's the thing. FX werent a bridging group, they were always meant as a competitive group for SM and they showed it when SNSD went on hiatus for over a year and FX became one of the biggest selling ggs of the year.

But the group and SM fucked things up. Sulli wanted to leave, the group barely have a shit when performing, SM sidelined them other acts, later on the members preferred doing their own activities over the group. FX after 2015 was done so obviously other groups like Exo and red velvet came into the limelight.

Itzy are still overshadowed by Twice and who knows what will happen to Nmixx but for now there's nothing to suggest Itzy are an afterthought, they're still a pretty decent group in their own right.

When SNSD started having larger gaps and hiatus FX stepped up and had some digital hits in that time (pinocchio, hot summer, electric shock etc) and also became the best selling gg. They were actual competition for 2ng biggest gg along side T-ara and 2NE1.

Itzy has struggled with any hits since Wannabe and they obviously aren't challenging for top spots as the likes of Aespa, RV, BP, Twice are beyond them. Itzy will be forgotten like FX but at least FX had reasons like mismanagement whereas Itzy will because noone really cares about them.

Companies can't have all of their groups end up as #1, no company is that lucky.

ITZY are more like Miss A after WG, and NCT and Winner after EXO and Big Bang.

Still doing alright, just not as good as their predecessor.

I think you are crazy. Itzy had a massive hit at debut when people were hyped to see Twice's sister group. Since then, they've declined in success, outside of Wannabe. Right now they have hype than at least 5 other 4th gen groups outside of their own fandom. Even their newly debuted sister group with the worst song in kpop history is getting more hype than them.
