How do u feel when group who u thought really talented and charismatic keep releasing mid songs?

    Like I really love MCND. They have great rap line and they don't lack much in vocals, and they have great dance line and on top of that they are amazing performers, they are one of the few groups that I think genuinely enjoy performing and makes me get excited. And they have i think some songwriting credits. But the problem is their music is mid, well its not downright terrible, usually their music grows on me through their performances. I wish they had better producers tho :pepe-pray: , then they would be perfect group and I would stan. My most favourite title from them. Wish everything from them at least had this quality.

    Disappointed especially having to wait a long time for a song that's a bit of a dud. It makes me think twice about continuing on with them and I am a loyal fan but there's only so much loyalty.

    I feel that way with Lightsum sometimes...

    I didn't like vanilla nor Alive but I did enjoy vivace...

    I like most of the members of the group but musically it's still so so


    well the good thing about having multiple favs is that if I end up not being a fan of lightsum there's always another group

    no need to force oneself to enjoy something that one doesn't enjoy...

    i like mcnd too much, and usually it feel sad for me when talented and charismatic groups didn't receive recognition they deserve because they didn't have good music to attract fans. I love their stage presence so whether the song I usually enjoy them :pepe-onions:

    I'm holding out hope Lightsum start self-producing.

    I experienced it with BTS and I felt disapointed af (cause I do consider BTS as special and one of a kind group thus bad music from them felt really much worse in comparison to if some average idol released smth like this), the more not really good songs they've been putting on the more disappointment has been transferring to anger. They still have been good entertainers (Run BTS, bon voyaje, etc) so I enjoyed it anyway and keep up hoping for better releases (which actually finally happened cause I really liked YTC and Run BTS which is 2/3 of new songs in last album Proof before they went on hiatus) plus obviously wanting continuation of Hoseok's solo story cause Hope World was everything and I was eager to see how he'll continue his path. I actually feel really reliefed after their Festa when they themselves said that music latest years was not it and they were lost in their creative appeal and even writing lyrics was hard.

    maybe you can like the members but not like their songs?

    I'm not sure what to call that? semi-fan? softcore stan? lol
