She's currently #6, so I would say they are pretty much equal or close to equal.

Yes, I like Rosé
-
She still isn't though. Nayeon 11 days after release: 248k unique listeners. Rosé: 363k
The comparison should be made in a few months when we get better picture on their longevity. Nayeon slowly rising after starting off very low while Rosé peaked higher. She also charted Gone.A bit funny people are comparing a korean song vs english song but that's another matter.
-
nayeon is flopping still, she'll freefall soon, she had better promotions than any of the blackpink members or the group as a whole, she still didn't do better than jennie, rose isn't even the most popular member, blackpink still outsold, nayeon will have no longevity, jennie outsold, lisa outsold, rose outsold....did i get all of them or am i missing anything?

Cope about what? the ul difference is still big in Rose's favor. The ones coping are people mentioning "uls decreased" at every turn when it was only a year ago. Imagine if they gave nayeon an english song, the feels and its nonexistant charting says hi.

comparing charting of an english song to a korean song lmao

This UL excuse makes no sense. Eleven didn't even crack 300k ULs, does it make it a smaller hit than OTG which peaked at 440k ULs? No. We still don't know Nayeon's peak ULs, she will likely cross 300k by the end of the week.
Y'all act like ULs are the most important. The charts have been dead for months now. Rosè released between a viral song and two of IU releases, on top of having a lot of hype. It's no surprise that she pulled good UL numbers but makes no sense to downplay Nayeon's charting using that.
English songs also gave an advantage to her for international charting. Stop acting as if YG sabotaged her domestic charting or something by giving her English songs.

Literally no one is saying YG sabotaged her, people are just saying it makes no sense to compare an English release to a Korean one because obviously one would do better than the other in Korea
If Nayeon's song was as life changing as onces make it out to be, it would bring in more ULs, dead charts or not - IVE, Idle, and BB had no problem crossing 500K earlier this year. And as you say, she has zero competition while Rosé was competing with Celebrity, an IU album drop, and Rollin at its peak
I also do not understand this obsession with comparing Nayeon to Rosé as though Jennie just doesn't exist lol
-
Rosé charted in a lot of countries, which country is Nayeon charting? What are Nayeon Spotify/YouTube and digitals peaks compared to Rosé? Why are onces acting like Nayeon is delivering a hit? Compare the center of Twice with the center of BLACKPINK. All Isee are onces trying to paint Nayeon as some successful soloist when you don't even dare to compare her with Jennie. Both the face of their groups. Why acting like this when you guys are deliberating excluding some Lisa achievements because she is thai just to give your girl some more numbers?
Deal with it, BLACKPINK cb will show you guys yet again what success means.

U yourself said Rose had competition but for nayeon where?? Rt now no 1 song is 3 months sold with just over 350k. Even with english song, she charted both song on melon top 10. Gone is a song which was leaked months before yet it still pull double the streams of Pop on spotifty. Nayeon literally had a song with fleix from stray kids.

They can't bcoz for youtube she uses ads, spotify-- even gone pulled double streams than PoP, billboard top 100-- doesn't exists in their dictionary. Only thing they can talk about is billboard 200 well good for her since rose had only single album.
-
the only thing I know for sure is that Rosè came out as a solo and literally no one is asking for another one from her. People are already asking for another Nayeon solo.
It is what it is. All stats and peaks aside, Rose's song just didn't have a lasting impact on anyone.
And I love how blinks now have to bring up Jennie now to cope with Nayeons success. Which already makes me lmao bc they skip right over Lisa.

Those songs didn't pass 500k ULs in a day or even a week lmao.
If it makes no sense comparing an English song to Korean song on domestic charts, then it also makes no sense to compare Rosè and Nayeon's Spotify charting but y'all do.
Nayeon had zero competition what?? She released at the same time as three BTS releases, Heize and Sunmi comeback, Aespa pre release which was promoted a lot. IVE's Love Dive also took #1 around Nayeon's debut, not to mention a bunch of small groups which could take 1 in Genie or Bugs like Kep1er, Fromis_9, WJSN etc. She had competition but all of the artists ended up performing average at best or flopping. Shows that POP is the only song shaping up to be a hit among the dozen releases in June.
This entire fiasco was started by a troll. And then God knows who brought it to Anons and this debate just won't end.
Y'all keep moving the goalposts it's hilarious. No point in comparing a 2018 song to 2022 song. Both debuted at different times in their careers. And charts have changed a lot too.

The second nayeon went #2 it was interesting to see how they moved from rose and jennie and switched the goalposts to UL's. I have to laugh.

Wtf is this argument, Blinks will always want more solos, we just want group comebacks to take first priority. And Lisa’s totally incomparable because she wipes out every single female kpop soloist with international numbers, but no one wants to talk about those because there’s a clear disadvantage there.
-

There was a thread on main comparing the two, asking who would have the more successful solo career. Some downplayed Rosé imo, and someone decided to make a thread on anons when Nayeon wasn’t doing that well. And from there it stemmed into a whole mess. But yeah, if we’re doing all BP solos, Jennie’s takes the cake for charting domestically, Lisa for album sales and international numbers, and I’d say Rosie has a good mix. With a Korean song or a ballad as her title, she probably could’ve charted even better domestically.

Nayeon also has english song with straykids member yet it didn't chart in korea. Gone was already leaked months ago yet it pulled over 2.9m streams on spotify in its first day and top 6 in korea. So english advantage only works for rose it seems.
