  • First things first. The title is less my style.

The title has a Purple vibe which is my least favorite WOO!AH! title. But that said I like this much better that Purple. I like the end part and some of the surrounding elements. But the central staccato chorus is less my thing.

Even if the title isn't my pick, I'm still immensely excited for the girls. And so glad they are back!!! It's soo good to see them. Everyone looks charming and like they're having fun.

I've gone through the album once so far.

I like Joyride and Switch Up.

But above them all. And the diamond in the album for me (besides SOTY CTS) .... Is Straight Up. Oh how I love this song. I've listening to this one over and over as we speak. This is my style song. So beautiful and almost.... Nostalgic? Like celebrating a collective triumph with friends, but there's a ting of wistfulness about it. This feels like a fan song to some extent. I would love a compilation of behind the scenes footage set to this to make a simple MV of sorts.

And of course, though not new, Catch The Stars remains my pick for Song of the Year. WOO!AH! Magic Carpet Ride. Their very best song.

Can't wait to see the promotions! Finally WOO!AH! is back!

    WOO!AH! FIGHTING!

  • I didn't develop much in my first post so here are some thoughts about the song.

It has a slowburn style reminiscent of Purple indeed. Which I don't mind since I like Purple. But I think it's the kind of song that might be a grower for those who didn't enjoy it that much at first listen.

I especially like the rap duo of Lucy & Nana which reminded me of Bad Girl; I overall appreciate that we get to hear Lucy more on this track. I like the pre-chorus, I like the chorus.

It remains to see how long it's gonna stay fun and fresh but for now, I'm very satisfied with this comeback. Catch the Stars was an excellent song but I felt like it missed wooah's signature sound.

The b-sides sound very good too; I won't elaborate though as I have listened to them only once. But overall it's an very enjoyable release, and they delivered what we could hope for.

  • Lucy front and center was really cool here. She's so charming and has a way of making the most of even small sections. Like in Catch The Stars one of the most memorable and fun parts was her sharpy sharpy things doe sh doe part. She's cool haha.

  • A great song

The structure is messier than I thought and the drop a bit longer but it's an enjoyable song. In the chorus the “dango" part is the best, their raps were really great, better than the one in catch the stars. The end was fun.

It will be a grower, more than Purple I think which did grow on me.

Also pretty sure the energy they will bring on stage will make me like it even more. It's after all what drew me during their self titled debut!!

  • the choreo is great, the chorus moves especially!! I hope they promote well with it!

Their CEO is a successful choreographer who, after making top choreos for many groups, decided to build his own girl group. I guess that's why their choreos are always so fun to watch.

  • OH I didn't know, that explains a lot! I still remember loving the Bad Girl choreo and most recently Catch the stars'

Yes, here's a video by Doyouram that covers the story of woo!ah!. Obviously Nana was the first member the CEO scouted.

  • Hmm................

I think this is one of my least favorite title from them.
    BUT

I feel this could also be a grower as I listen to it more.

The vocal is quite catchy for me. I absolutely love Wooyeon's and Sora's vocals at the start, especially their "oh wow and oohh ahh" The rap and beat that goes with Lucy and Nana's rap is great.

The beat change at the end is one of my favorite.

Pretty much every part of the song is great except for the chorus...
