NCT Tokyo and Hollywood Talk Again

SM is talking about NCT Hollywood and NCT Tokyo again

This isn't surprising given the amount of Japanese promotion that's been happening lately around Yuta and Shotaro, and (this is just my speculation) given that there is the summer SMTOWN in Tokyo, I think the announcement timing will either be before or after that event.

I feel like if MGM is involved the Hollywood show will be on Amazon Prime. It would also make sense because I believe HBO and CJ are planning a survival show about a kpop group and I believe there was talk about the Hybe/UMG group having a show as well which will probably also be courted by a streamer.

I agree - I've always thought it would be on OTT. But there was nothing yet at the upfronts so I'm curious - maybe midseason? Or next year?

They need to figure out their plan for WayV first. With Winwin starting a new show, we have to wait even longer for a cb and strategy.

I think there will be some sort of voting component to help them assess potential fan interest in members. It is very clear that use social listening so I don't see them missing an opportunity here to see who is most popular.

No date yet, which makes sense because they tried to set dates last year and that sure went sideways. That said, I bet we'll get dates if they do another SM Summit this year. Assuming it's not already recorded, they could record in these two weeks ahead of the 127 Tokyo shows while most members are in Seoul.
