I agree with this 100%! Fans deserve to know what is going to happen and well, his scandal is really messy that even I don't really remember all the accusations, but SME really did poorly with the whole pr thing.

I hope if he comes back they release that song jalapeno. That sounded like a hit. It was a lot better than flop flop by ten and the other one. I don't think SM will put him back in without a statement. At least wayv is having a comeback. Out of the dungeon finally.

I became their fan after the issue so.. it’s weird…for me…. The fact that he is in there but not being able to talk about him… until something happens… but nothing happened so far… and as an outsider at that time with friends who are NCT fans I didn’t know everything but honestly I don’t want to know either. I thought I will wait for news.

Anyway love their music and I want a comeback. That’s all I say because I don’t think I have the right to comment about him.

Hope the fans can get a closer, a news that will help the confusion the company keeps them in.

some said it was all clear up, but i am not so sure. This is the way many comapies deal with this kind of issues. And i guess SM is using this moment, that people is more invested on Le sserafim-Garam scandall to take him out of the dog house

Is it?? The time that I followed the scandal it wasn't settled and after it became so messy that i dropped the issue and now I'm confused if he will cb or not.

They know the fandom is split because they lurk on twitter very often. His scandal is nearing 1 year and we got nothing but a silly photo on his IG account. And that post was not well received in the country where WayV is supposed to be marketed at. It's just strange and offputting how SM/LabelV is not trying to clear his image if he's indeed innocent. It's been enough time to gather info or evidence about what happened. Why are they not even bothering?

Ugh I agree with you here. I kept assuming we’d go with 5 or 6 here since they tested the water with smaller formations. Winwin is a short timer in the group (I’ve already lived this “seperate solo activities” life) and I thought the 5 worked great with Miracle. And I thought it was settled, but I agree the rumblings, particularly of the same member around 7, are convincing me he’s coming back.

Maybe they’re doing their due diligence and actually investigating but it sure feels more like biding their time and hoping “people have cooled off” and they can keep doing what they’re doing, which is really disappointing for the Weishens who have been in limbo during this time.

At this point, they’d be better positioning him as a soloist rather than returning him to the group except he’s not a strong enough rapper to be a soloist so I agree that puts him squarely back into WayV.

If they just randomly plop him back in there with no explanation I wouldn't be surprised but I also don't know if I could still follow WayV after something like that at least there's always a lot of variety content with individual members

whats weirder is, why is the accuser so quite? if this wasnt cleared, they would be louder, no? I think sm already resolved the issue with the accuser.

I assume you mean the PRC here, that is actually even more complicated because, different from other countries, the government there actually gets involved in celebrity scandals while in most other places, celebrities moral failings are only scrutinized by the public

I'm gonna put my 2 cents on the case:

- If Lucas made a statement apologizing there's definitely some true to it (at least for the asking for money, cheating and being with sasaengs part, which was the things he was accused of at first)

- Then there's the "trashtalking about members" and the "kinda forcing to have s*x without preservative" talks which happened after, but it's really annoying how many people have decided to blindly believe this narrative and anything that came out against Lucas that time and started to label him of SA, for me that's no better than acting like he's an innocent baby who did nothing.

What I'm gonna say is that if other members are comfortable with him being back it's not as bad as some people think, no way someone like Ten will be laughs and giggles with Lucas if he did some of the shit that was said, or at least there would need to be a very remarkable change on Lucas' personality for that to happen.

I know a lot of people may disagree with me here, but if Lucas makes a comeback with WayV, his dynamics and chemistry with the other members will say a lot about how bad the case really was.

SM doesn't have much to say for a start because it's a personal matter, the accusers didn't threaten to sue and there's very little to take legal actions from on this case. The worse is the SA thing but even then that's not really considered as such, it would be more gaslighting than anything. (How could this even be proven to be true or false?)

And even if they weren´t Sasaengs, you have to be really, REALLY naive (stupid) to let any guy, and even less an idol to play sugar mommy with more than once. I know some people go blind with the person they fall for. But these people are the kind of woman that are capable to spend any kind of money to follow an Idol. So if you are the kind of person who is willing to spend any kind of money to be next to your bias...do i have to explain?
