So in S1 and S2 (not in S3 as far I know) the Japanese company Yoshimoto Kogyo payed into forming Lapone Entertainment but since most money to form the company came from Mnet, Yoshimoto decided to give ownership to CJ,E&M and so Mnet owns the company and Yoshimoto is doing nothing at all, but Yoshimoto belived there are people who also deserve a chance on debuting after PDJ S1 and S2 ended. And so Yoshimoto payed 1 million $ to form a subsidary with Universal, that debuted 2 groups from S1 and 1 group from S2. In S1 it was OWV (4 members) and ENJIN (9, now 8 members) and in S2 it was OCTPATH (8 members)
It was already a bit odd in the beginning, cause OCTPATH's former member Toma decided to leave right after their first few weeks of existent, dude also messed up in terms of "being sick" since Toma really got sick, but decided to go back to his homecountry Indonesia and not return. At the time Toma was gone, Wataru also thought to call in sick and always when he got asked by Universal where he was and if he was still sick, he apparently asked to just be phonecalled and pretended to be sick on the phone, so that he was not seen on video or visited at home etc. but it begun to be fishy, when it came out that he got bills from Okinawa that stated he was in a hotel, bought expensive wine, ate in restaurants etc. And when it came out he wasn't even alone, Universal decided to let a worker who was in Okinawa know if he might sees him around, he should call them and so oneday a worker of Universal who was in Okinawa caught him and reported it to Universal and yeah it came out at the end that he was not only secretly dating and faking being sick, but that he spend 3 months or so of the 6 months he pretended to be sick, to go to clubs every night and flirt with different girls (apparently even making out with some, maybe even taking them to his home) and than being with a fangirl for 3 months who was even too naive and thats why he got her to date him
He got send on another 6 months of hiatus at the end to reflect on what he did and Universal said if he dosn't apolgizes properly within the 6 months and promisses to never do it again, he will be kicked out of the group, after a few months he gave in and apologized
