No I don't work there but I have an aunt who is a nurse, she works in a hospital with 9K beds and said its so tiring her that when her station's head left they suggested her for the position and she said "I told them no, when my boss asked me if I would like to lead the station, because that would mean more work besides my regular work and yeah I would earn more but I already work too much so no. A few weeks later they found someone willing to do this job who already only works a half shift each day, so she works an almost full one now with the work of leading that whole station"
(IDK if its the same as in German but a "station" is either a full floor or a section of a floor like 1 hallway where nurses only work for the rooms on the floor or the section)
