I was so close to name someone outside of KPop cause most artists outside Korea (and a few Asian countries) barly ever make multiple versions

New KPop-fans from let's say the past 3 years. Do you think more of them would know about ZEROBASEONE than BTS or nah?

- When the KPop group EPEX released a song together with the JPop group FANTASTICS the members of EPEX had revealed that they got almost no response or had been even rejected when they reached out for an artist to collab with. Nobody in Korea wanted to work with them, so they tried to ask in Japan, but also nobody replied or they got cancled on, so when FANTASTICS said yes and wanted to work with them, the member of EPEX had ben very happy and imediatly begun to consider FANTASTICS as their Japanese friends
- The laergest KPop group that ever existed was called Apeace, they had 10 members when debuted but at their height 35 members and ended with only being 8 members and disbanded after almost 11 years in 2021. The group was having in total 38 members, since they switched a few members around after some years, but most left the group during their military service. The group was send to Japan in 2011 and mostly released Japanese music and only toured trought Japan, so people in Korea or KPop-fans barly ever knew that this was the actual largest KPop-group and not NCT. When Apeace disbanded it was said that all the rememaining members moved back to Korea, except 1 guy who stayed in Japan since it was said he was having a girlfriend and stayed for her.
- In 2013 the television channel MBC held a survival show that was casting a JPop-group. The goal was just to find out if people would apply for a show if it wasn't centered around KPop. At the end 40 people applied for the show of which around 15 had participants had been from Japan but only 10 were Japanese. At the end 5 people had debuted together in 2014 as the group named BESHUFFLE under Universal Japan and had been a group for 3 years consisting of 3 Koreans ansd 2 Japanese people, where only 1 of the Korean members was actually from Korea since everyone else lived in Japan. After disbanding 2 of the Korean member stayed together as a duo but it was stated around 2 years back that after they boith completed their military service in Korea and went back to Japan they had some issues with eachother that made them go seperate ways on which the one who runs the social media accounts for the duo, that he renamed into his name, said he was still very mad and will never forgive him. The group BESHUFFLE had 3 Japanese and 1 Korean album at the time they existed and even performed on Korean TV (Altho just their debut song)
- Young K of DAY6 said he would be probably still in Canada if it wasn't for JYP. He said he and some friends played on a street festival and somehow JYP was in Canada, noticed him play and asked if he would audition, cause he was planning to form a band but still didn't got a bassplayer. Young K said he had no idea who JYP was at the time and just said he would try it but wasn't even sure at first if he even really should go to Korea, especially when he even thought he might be scammed/fooled. Only when he looked the company up on the internet he thought it was legit and than considered going to Korea.
- Under My Skin by TVXQ was originaly released in 2007 by the German singer Sarah Conner under the same songtitle.
- Sana's former dance teacher from back when she was a kid debuted in a Japanese boygroup in 2012 called GENERATIONS. In 2018 they had been in Korea and fans who liked both groups said that Sana apparently introduced GENERATIONS to TWICE and when being on the same TV show to tell everyone that GENERATIONS's member Yuta was her dance teacher when she was little. From that show also exists a pic online where both groups are on it together.

- Back in the day when Lee Sooman was still in SM he sometimes copied the Japanese company LDH, especially from their boygroup EXILE. Super Junior for example has around 3 songs who were originaly from EXILE and Lee Sooman copied the system of EXILE TRIBE to make NCT (however after 5 groups he gave up with NCT, while EXILE TRIBE is still going on with 12 groups + 2 subunits and its unclear if they could ever ad more groups or not), there are a few more instances where he copied from LDH
- Byeongkwan from A.C.E was mentioned on TWICE's debut album in a note that states that he gave good advice
- Since Hunter of xikers uis fluently in English (as like almost everyone in Thailand as it seems) and cause he was introduced by being named Hunter, people at first thought he was from the US when he was the only trainee where nobody knew his nationality till he debuted
- Xiaojun of NCT speaks very good English, but he said when he was new to SM he almost didn't knew any Korean and also spoke no English at all, so on the first day he arrived at SM Leeteuk of Super Junior was greeting the new trainees and when he was told there are foreign kida who barly know Korean he tried to speak English to Xiaojun and Xiaojun said he felt very uncomfortable cause he had no idea how to tell Leeteuk that he dosn't knows how to even speak to him cause he knew no English or Korean, however it took him less than 2 years to become very good at English but he says he still struggles cause he also has to learn Korean and Japanese and that its a lot languages for him that he didn't knew before comming to SM
- First time ever a KPop-idol went viral in Europe (after PSY) wasn't when BTS became famous, it was already a while earlier when in 2015 a member of GFriend slipped on stage and someone had filmed her while falling and the clip somehow became viral, so every tv channel around Europe showed it and talked about her

This could be Strategy

JiminieKookie why don't you like your entry?!?! I loved it at first listen, it's a banger!
I don't like it, most here in Germany don't like it either. A lot people also guess we might be disqualified if worst, cause she uses a lot autotune and it's against the laws of ESC to perform using autotune on stage. It's also not my type of music and the message of the song sucks too.
We have so many better artists who could've represented Germany but the national television program NDR (we have 1 for each direction, so north, south, east, west, middle and 2 national tv channels for general aswell as a comedy, a festival, a documentary and a childrens national channel besides all the privat channels that people watch) who hosts a show for selecting our entry each year always disqualifies a lot artists who try to aply for being not "Suitable for being played in the radio". Normaly songs who get selected to represent Germany are also played a lot in radio before and after the ESC but most radio stations avoid this year's entry or only played it like 1 or 2 times so far. Even the national radio-stations seems to have their problems with it. I remember when on work we played 1LIVE one afternoon around 2 days after the song was selected and the MCs expressed themself, while trying to be as neutral as possible at first, in a way as if they didn't liked it either and the song was never ever played again after that day.
From the last few years, I like the entry of 2018 the most where we send Michael Schulte.
The issue with not suitable for radio which is why the NDR dislikes and cancles on a lot artists is a big problem, cause a row of good acts send their stuff and than get cancled. A few times I also saw artists, but also people who normnaly don't sing, who applied for ESC and than got cancled, who expressed their feelings for being cancled on in videos and than show what song they wanted to represent us with and its a shame how many are so good and NDR be like "nope, not gonna happen, you prick that dosn't sounds suitable for the radio". Most songs getting cancled are rock, metal, rap, EDM,... and no, in 2023 we did not send a metal song cause NDR allowed it for once, it was more that NDR said in that year "well whatever" after too many complaints for always sending the worst and so people could audition via TikTok and got voted by people on TikTok and the NDR was not involved at all.
And about getting cancled from the NDR. In 2022 the band Electric Callboy applied, everyone in Germany was like: "Oh my god if they get selected and win the show where we can vote them to represent us, we might win for once" because they are extremly famous and even popular worldwide (and collabed with a row different artists, like they even have a song with the Japanese girlgroup BABYMETAL) and NDR cancled on them for not being suitable for being played on the radio.
This is Electric Callboy:

We have provided more information on this in our privacy policy. As result that Electric Callby got cancled entire Germany posted videos on Youtube where everyone and their mother was mad at the NDR for always doing crap, selecting the worst artists and even missing on chances to get us out of the last place-section.
This year after Baller was selected, people also made a lot TikTok mocking her for how bad she performed on stage, how she will flop cause she uses autotune which is against the laws of ESC and how in general the song was a "listen once and forget imediatly after" and how many people would not search for it, don't play it, will directly forget the girl once ESC is over,... Some even said "Who even is this? Can they for once pls use a recognizable artist, that even if its just in Germany, people will know? I always watch ESC wondering who the nobody is that was send there"
And we have so many in my opinion better options to send to ESC.
Some German acts who I think would've been a better option, than Baller is:

nah thats a bit too much, you only get 10
- Junon of the fampus JPop-group BE:FIRST used to be a KPop trainee for 2 years and than joined the floped group Vermuda. Vermuda debuted in 2017 and had only their debut single. Junon was added as new member in the end of 2018 and the group disbanded a few weeks later in early 2019 where they were not making any music, so Junon was there for nothing. Funny enough that he went from floped as fuck boygroup in Korea to one of th emost famous boygroups in Japan
- When A.C.E's member Byeongkwan was asked what the reason was why he became a JYP trainee he said since his childhood friend Yugyeom of GOT7 was a KPop trainee at the time, he asked him how it was and apparently Yugyeom saying "JYP is fun" was enough to join the company. However when he met his member Chan, they both begun to hat it there and imediatly left JYP
- CJ,E&M or better known by the name of Mnet trought the TV channel Mnet, is a Korean company who does not only owns a TV channel but also a lot other businesses like music companies, a food production company and many more. They also own a Japanese music company called Lapone Entertainment that currently has 3 boygroups and 2 girlgroups in which everyone is, except 2 idols are people who had participated on one of the 3 seasons of Produce 101 Japan, even tho only 3 of the 5 groups are the winners of each season. Funny enough, the leader of the boygroup DXTEEN who is one of the two who wasn't on Produce, was on a survival show in Korea that formed the boygroup TO1 who was in the label WAKEONE which is also owned by CJ,E&M.
- The family of MONSTA X's Hyungwon actually had planed to move to Germany and fully live there when he was little. However they somehow didn't liked it and moved back to Korea after just 3 months
- Eric Nam said that when he first ever came to Korea he never even thought to become a musician. He was just randomly scoutet and thought they didn't ment it for real, especially cause he was in the middle of his 20s at the time.
- When Hongjoong became the first ever trainee of KQ Entertainment he pissed producer Eden so off by just existing, that Eden tried to get rid of him. Eden had left CUBE Entertainment as produce and wanted to focus on a career as singer, but when he heard he was told to spend time with a trainee, he was so not having it that he tried to give Hongjoong the worst tasks ever like remembering 1.000 words and rap them, writing songs the entire time without a break and more, in hope Hongjoong would give up and leave so he could focus on his solo debut again. However Hongjoong proofed him wrong and nailed each task given from Eden, no mather how stupid it was. Oneday Eden realised that Hongjoong was to strong and to determined so he said he started to like him and wanted to become his producer when he debuted. This is how Eden became the main produce rof ATEEZ
- In 2012 a Gewrman TV show nammed TAFF send their Korean MC to Korea just cause she is Korean in hope to make a documentary about KPop with her. All she did in the video was going into a random press conference of Super Junior and asking them what they like about Germany. Leeteuk than just said he knows how to speak German but only said one sentense that most people would say when lying and actually not speaking a language but just knowing like 2 words and than said he likes Beer and German girls
- Around 2011 there was a clip on YT from a recording of a German radio show where people could call the show and talk with the MC about whatever topic and some girl called there to talk 1 hour about SM Entertainment. The MC had no clue what SM ment and said "Siegfried Marta Entertainment" the whole time and at the end the MC was like "Sorry we don't have a song for you, cause normaly we would end with a song fitting to the topic, but I don't think we have anything for you" than they randomly proceded to play SHINee's Ring Ding Dong
- The Japanese vocalist Chanmina and the Korean vocalist Ash Island are married and have a child
- If you are bored, find all the JPop-idols who have been background dancers in KPop-MVs. For example Santa (a solo-artist but also ex. member of the JPop group WARPs UP and the CPop group INTO1) and Hiroto (of the JPop group INI) used to be backup dancers in Taemin's FAMOUS before their debuts as singer
