I'm actually amazed at how bad Hybe is at PR and how well Hybe understands BTS's fans.
I guess it does not surprise me now that Hybe chose to push all the problems and have BTS stand as a shield.
Realistically, most of this sh8t storm started out directed at BSH/Hybe - cult and all the mess. The fact that BSH is not out there loudly denouncing his connection to Dahn World seriously makes me raise my eyebrow.
As for what that online university is saying about suing people for saying that they're part of Dahn World cult. If their founder is the founder of Dahn World Cult (its leader who they're allegedly pushing like North Korea's Kim Ilsung) how can it not be associated with it? If he's the founder, unless he sold it, he's the owner of that online university and should retain a lot of control and influence over it.
Also that screencap from reddit that I shared showed fans writing about this matter few years ago. Fans were talking about how up to 2019 or so this university was offering Dahn World cult yoga/meditation or something and materials about Dahn World (the cult founder wrote a book). Can a business be legitimate and still be a cult? Yes, it can as has been shown by other cults operating in Korea.
I'm starting to believe that these conspiracy theorist may be unto something with their harping about how Dahn World connects to much more - politics, business, etc. Mind you these are all hearsay and circumstantial but this is what they are claiming and I don't have enough energy to verify it:
1) real time censoring of people's post
2) Some interesting things about JTBC video I shared yesterday, e.g., things like Illit's hand signature supposedly being similar to cult

JTBC's claim:

Look ma it's not similar (JTBC's pic that they used to "disprove" the claim that Illit has cult references in their dance. Left sign is the cult sign and right is Illit dance. This was so obviously fact checkable that JTBC started to lose its credibility to me and had me wondering if there was any merits to the conspiracy theorists' claim that these powerful cults have connections to the media/politics/big corporations and they're trying to do damage control.)
Also, JTBC's line about "the chorographer is Japanese" so likely has no connection to Dahn World was an interesting statement since Dahn World is global. lmao They're not limited to just Korea.
You see a glaring omission here? No reference to the fact that netizens are claiming there is an connection between BSH and Dahn World. Also interesting that they did not mention the allegations about Gfriend and LS.
3) Dahn World connection to BTS
This is the pic that K netizens shared:

Hard for me to believe Dhan World has nothing to do with online university when K netz are showing previous news publications showing Lee Seung Heon (aka Lee Ilchi) as Global Cyber University Chancellor/President.
To be fair, this university could and likely is a legit university that teaches classes just like other online university but hard to believe their claim that there is no connection. Businesses typically harvest people's data and use it for marketing and whatnot. Are there protections in place that prevents this cyber university from sharing data with Dahn World that would make it easier for people to be targeted by Dhan World? For example, if they know you have an interest in fitness or spiritual theory or you are into certain topics that they can then market their materials to lure people in. Something to that effect.
I mean Dhan World even got to NYC Education: https://nypost.com/2009/11/09/cult-program-in-nyc-schools/
These people are slick. Please read more if you're interested but here's a snippet.
"Thousands of city public-school students and teachers are participating in a “Brain Education” program run by a group with ties to an alleged cult. For the past three years, the Department of Education has shelled out nearly $400,000 for 44 schools to participate in the Power Brain Education company’s lessons and workshops."
