Dani has a beautiful tone but her voice isn't a very emotional one. Hanni is much better at conveing sad feelings through her voice.

So i think its just not the best choice of song to showcase the full potential of her voice. She would have suited a song like best part, paris in rain, water or even any ariana eternal sunshine typa songs much better.

I would have loved to hear Hanni cover this amazing song tho...

I agree, she has a nice tone but her voice lacks texture where this song really needs it. Tough order considering most idols can barely sing these days, won’t see sakura or kazuha doing a cover anytime soon 😂

imo there should be a silent generation, somewhere inbetween 2019-2021 groups like itzy, aespa, stayc struggled with covid and 3rd gen still dominating, they never really had their limelight.

Funnily enough 3rd gen - which was suppose to be my generation, I never really got into kpop even though the BP & Twice hype was through the roof, I could barely name an idol in 2018 😂. Looking back I kind of regret not participating since all my friends in school were Kpop heads.

As an aussie I had to stan newjeans, I think it was a couple of months after their debut. I was curious to see who was the IT group and stumbled across this IVE group from an unknown company called starship, their MV only a few months old had 150M views and I was like yeahhh…there’s no hope 😅

If you saw how emotional she was when her name was called you’d know she was DETERMINED to debut.
