I wasn’t trying to teach you what to feel or think, I was simply just replying to what you said that didn’t make sense and sharing some facts. I even specified multiple times that it was completely understandable if their music or style wasn’t up your alley, I just wanted to explain a few things. I wouldn’t have replied to you if you weren’t a former MOA.
I’m truly sorry if there’s something going on in your life that has caused you to be so bitter and has taken away your joy from K-pop. I do wish you the best.

EXOL never lost any voting lol. Even without me voting.
I will continue to talk about kpop and analyze them. Again a lot of words to cope which you can continue to do so. I’m just sharing my views on different groups and fandoms.
When people say silly things like “my fandom is lazy” I’ll just disprove it. It’s not personal. It’s got nothing to do with TXT, I’d say the same for any fandom including my own.
I like to illustrate my points thoroughly, which results in there being more words. I write stuff. It’s in my blood to counter with an essay. Thank you, but you clearly don’t know what coping is.
Edit: You don’t know what you’re talking about, see you later.

The only year i ever voted was the year I joined kpop.
Fandoms are not special and fandoms don’t have traits. Sure “kpop” fandom are different from say beyonce fans or whatever. But they’re not that much different from each other
Your kpop fandom isn’t lazy or peculiar or special and people’s anecdotal experiences about how they do this and that won’t change this fact.
If you don’t get votes, you don’t have that many people who place you #1. This is not hard to believe in TXT’s case where they do have a lot of fans who stan BTS as well. Or fandoms can be more casual than ardent. Whatever the reason maybe it’s certainly not “my fandom is lazy”
Um. You just said it yourself, a fandom can be either casual or ardent. Saying they’re lazy is just a slang/shorthand for saying the fandom is casual in voting. And also with you saying that you’re a big fan of exo but still haven’t voted more than one time is kind of giving and example of EXOLs not being a very “ardent” fandom which you also mentioned yourself.
Fandoms sure do act certain ways. Why do you think that a bunch of different fandoms have nicknames and are well known/infamous for doing certain things and acting a certain way? It’s just the mentality that being in that fandom cultures. It’s the same with non-K-pop fandoms too. They act different ways. They’re fundamentally fandoms at the end of the day, sure, but the way they function is different. This is not anecdotal, if you took a step out and looked at how different fandoms act you’d see exactly what I’m talking about. It’s not a one time experience from a few select random people.
Find a different hobby than trying to prove certain groups don’t have fans or are flops, with nonsensical points when the numbers prove otherwise, it’s not worth your time. I don’t talk trash about your group, in fact I highly respect them. Learn to do the same for others.

I always forget to vote for stuff. That's if I even know there's stuff to vote for.
That’s a mood right there
-
Because title tracks are most remembered imo the b Side will only do good for a b side it’s not gonna get as much as hit TTs after all.
As for being bad at voting and stuff those are just excuses if you don’t get votes then you don’t have a fandom.
A fandom is not a personality trait “oh moa’s are lazy”. I say the same for EXOL too BTW, they don’t match streams on Spotify not because “they’re lazy and others are mass streaming” they just can’t compete with current active groups. If you’re not getting votes it usually means you’re not the majority of fans first favorite and they’re voting for someone else.
It’s ok to accept you lack somethings.
I think you underestimate the workings of streams.
A lot of awards are based off of voting, and not judged by the group’s real success/numbers. And it’s true, a lot of moas are actually ult fans but still don’t vote. I even have a problem concentrating on voting and streaming.
We have a small core fandom that concentrates their all on TXT, and the rest are not that devoted, they either don’t vote or are easily bribed not to. You could probably say the same for EXO, and I mean this respectfully. Unlike a lot of other groups, these fandoms with small concentrated cores often can’t catch up in manual things like voting or streaming compared to other fandoms that do that massively.
Look, everybody still knows exo. There’s no doubt that they’re popular and a topmost group, but they just don’t have as many numbers as the mass streaming fandoms. All of this I say in respect to them, because I’m not one to call other groups flops and concentrate so much on their popularity levels when I don’t even stan them or listen to the majority of their music.
(They do have good music though.)

I lost interest in them this year too. and that's really unfortunate because I've been supporting them since 2019. it's actually simple: their music was not doing it for me. this year has been a string of back to back disappointing releases. from srr (not THAT bad, but forgettable) to those ridiculous collabs to their latest comeback that was just so so mid and outdated. they were doing something magical and special in 2021 and bighit had a great setting stage to only go up from there but of course they had to sabotage everything and release good boy gone bad. what the hell was that nonsense even???? im still waiting for them to stick to a sound (preferably pop rock) and just hang in there. bighit needs to realize that their strategy with txt is just not working. the gap between them and their peers is broadening. now that bts is in the military, I feel like they might focus more on txt to even fill 0.00001% of bts' shoes. but it's just one disappointment over an other. I don't even bother with their content anymore, I didn't even know they were having a comeback. just opening yt and chasing that feeling mv was there. heard the song once and politely never bothered again. literally what era is bighit even living in? this sound worked wonders in TWENTY FUCKING TWENTY. we are nearly four years past that year. the weekend has moved on, everyone and their mothers have moved on from retro, but bighit is still strung up in the past. fucking hate it. they ruined txt for me. fuck them. it was just one disappointment over the last. even the b-sides in srr album were not good. I didn't even bother with ctf.
The reason they don’t have a set sound is because their sound is literally not having a set sound. The point of them is that they try out many different genres and sounds. Some people don’t like that, and that’s ok, but also they need to recognize that this isn’t a group that’s going to keep releasing songs within the same genre and musicality over and over.
Yeah, I didn’t like their collabs that much either (obviously mediocre stuff to try and shove them into a US market or whatever). I think we can all agree that whole thing was not a good move by bighit.
Honestly, I’m pretty sure the point of Freefall is to be “outdated”? Their concept wasn’t retro, it was nostalgia. Tying in with the overarching concept, of course. Everybody criticises a group for following current trends and trying to be mainstream, but once they decide to not do so they’re behind in times and old news? Hm. I wonder what’s up here.
Either way, look at all the popular groups doing “old” sounds and concepts like Red Velvet and NewJeans. I think flashing back to past styles is always in style.
Now, bsides. As a person who is actually a musician, what do you mean their bsides in temptation were bad? Those were literally their best bsides so far, they were very unique and well produced! I know their entire discography like the back of my hand, so I am indeed taking Freeze/FOE into account. I’m not viewing these songs as a fan right now, I’m viewing them critically as how they sound if I wasn’t their fan and just judging their music.
Only thing I’m not liking about TXT right now is their current stylist. Knetizens as always trying to kick out the creative team that’s actually really good
It’s kind of sad to see a former MOA not really understand the point of TXT. Understandable that their music is not up your alley anymore, but it seems you have no idea about their overarching concept and sound choices.

Actually, in korea and japan, TXT did chart far better than they ever have before since Sugar Rush Ride. Freefall wasn't as good, but it still did much better than most bgs who don't make it on charts usually. In terms of their domestic/close international vicinity popularity, they have started to become one of the topmost groups and are very popular. However, Bighit is terrible at promoting internationally with TXT, and even as a moa I'd say many other groups are far more popular than them in places like USA. It's always been this way.
Also, for those of you who are sad that they aren't doing rock sounds anymore, look again! Their new album actually has a couple of classical rock sounding bsides to them from the time periods of 70s-90s, if you're curious.
To those of you who say their sound is typical boygroup and not unique... you clearly must not listen to other boygroups. I don't think there's really many kpop groups there at all that try out as many genres as TXT do and have a sound like them. Trust me, I'm no isolated kpop stan, I listen to a lot of different groups, so I know unique when I hear it.

Yes, both of you choose your own color for your custom stuff, but for the new gradients those colors you choose will be combined, so I suggest working together to find some colors your like that work well together!
If you don't want an LE or static badge you don't have to claim that prize! For the custom badge, that is one of the options an allkill winner can choose--the other option being a custom emblem, so choose wisely

I wish the colors were a little more harmonious, but overall it's a good aesthetic. It feels very festive and nice to see around on the forum.
HwaGoose
Aesthetic: 7/10

Love the mischievous grin Grinch-hwa has, and the bold use of color really makes the aesthetic stand out when you're scrolling down the page.

Even though one of you has AllKill and one doesn't, I can see clearly that you tried to match each other in multiple ways. Very cute.

The only thing really keeping me from giving you a full 10 on aesthetic category is that the placement of the signature elements feel a bit disorganized. Besides that, perfect!
HwaGoose
Aesthetic: 8/10

Seonghwa just looks so mischevious in your signature and pfp, I love it. Only drawback is that, like jenn, your signature doesn't seem to be organized well.

I liked the matching badge number/pattern and both of you having merry christmas in your signature. Great job coordinating between allkill & non allkill!

I actually really like yours, it probably helps you used one of my favorite idols but no seriously everything matches so well. You did very well at meeting the Santa requirement.

I feel like it was a little simple but Seonghwa is staring through my soul so I gotta give points for that .

Thematically the signature feels slightly mismatched from the rest, but overall the aesthetic is super pretty. The use of some of the Valentine's badges was clever.
Catgirl
Aesthetic: 6/10
Role interpretation: 6/10
Unfortunately you don't seem to have gotten your signature completed, but at least it's green. I'm also missing a sense of general Grinchiness or holiday vibes, but visually the aesthetic is nice to look at.
ellenote + Catgirl
Coordination: 3/10
I would've liked to see more coordinated elements. It feels like you're just two people who like the same idol instead of actual teammates.

Although you had tons of red and had a general cheery vibe, you had some Valentines badges. These are red, yes, but it doesn't really match the holiday theme. Additionally, there's a similar problem with the signature--it sure is red, but it's not festive. Besides that, good look overall!
Catgirl
Aesthetic: 6/10
Role interpretation: 6/10
Overall, everything looks aesthetically pleasing. However, the unfinished signature does dock a hefty amount of points, and I feel like your pfp didn't quite exude a grinchy look as much as I'd like. You seemed to look more green than grinch.
ellenote + Catgirl
Coordination: 3/10
I didn't really see much coordination here. The two aesthetics were vastly different, the only similarity is the idol!

you did what I was expecting from Cat, your text in your signature is a little misaligned on my browser but that's no biggie! I loved you whipping out the old heart lollipop badges.
Catgirl

I have seen you do much better on themes, I was expecting an adorable new jeans holiday theme but instead you tried to play it really safe, and in this case it cost you honey.

It's pretty and very wintry, overall it looks nice. Your theme color was meant to be red though, which you barely have any of in your aesthetic. You also used a badge about bad boys, but you're supposed to be the good one on your team!
oikalli
Aesthetic: 6/10
Role interpretation: 5/10
Unfortunately I had to dock you a few points because you got your aesthetic finished late.
I feel like the signature image is neither holiday-esque nor Grinchy, it's just green. However overall I do like the coordination of the greens and blues, and the fact that somehow the Maniac badge feels thematically on point.
MK3AM + oikalli
Coordination: 3/10
I would've liked to see more coordinated elements. You both just seem like Stray Kids fans who enjoy memes and winter, instead of teammates.

MK3AM
Aesthetic: 4/10
Role interpretation: 5/10
Unfortunately, your aesthetic wasn't very... well, aesthetic overall. Interpretation wasn't that good either, as there was barely any red in your photo, and... is that a good boy gone bad badge? I don't quite think that matches your role! Although, props to the overall wintry feel you've given to your look.
oikalli
Aesthetic: 5/10
Role interpretation: 4/10
I'm afraid that quite a bit of points were deducted because of the late signature. There was really almost no allusion to grinchiness or the fact that this was a holiday-based aesthetic at all. However, the green and maniac badges, mischevious pfp, and grinch quote in your sig were great points.
MK3AM + oikalli
Coordination: 2/10
I couldn't tell who your assigned idol was, it just seemed like a mix of a bunch of Stray Kids members, as well as the fact that there were multiple idols in your pfp and signatures. Besides that, no matching elements, but i think there was a bit of visual coordination in the sense that you both had rather meme-y pfps. Still, didn't really seem like you were in a team.

awww your SKZ siggggiiee is adorable, again the guild emblems threw me off a tad, however unlike your teammate, you didn't match the theme with your badges. so I have to take off points.

the avocado has me dying laughing, thank you for that. The only thing detracting for me is your ONCE guild emblem still being there but the rest looks awesome. I like that you stuck to the green but also tried to do something unique and a beautiful nature aesthetic.

I feel badges could've been handled better and you both used different idols.
