    The avatars looks great

But i'm sorry i just find it this idea of giving to each member their own avatar very reminding of Aespa especially considering that it came from Min hee jin who left SM in 2019 which means she was already aware of the avatar concept of aespa

She could have try to come with something different -_-

Lol, the reach. This is homage to their Plus Audition graphics, which is dated to 2019. They don't have AI/Avatar or whatever concept. Don't worry. Aespa can keep it.

First of all, you are highkey discrediting her contribution in K-pop scene. K-pop is a visual package, where concepts and art direction matter as much as songs itself. She literally handled all SM acts from SNSD to NCT, including solo acts - from concepts, MVs, logos, outfits; sometimes she even filmed everything by herself. MHJ was pivotal in creating some of the most famous concepts for f(x), Red Velvet, Shinee, etc, which created phrase "Min Heejin's Sensibility" among Koreans and contributing in the success of SM. She went from being a regular employee to a member of board of directors in SM. How many people achieve this from their own hard work? She is admired for these very reasons. She was polarized figure towards the end of her career in SM due to repetitive concepts, but she was severely burnt out.

International fans might be learning about Min Heejin now, but she has established her name in Korea long time ago. It just happens that HYBE is more global than SM has ever been, so international fans got to know her after her successful rebranding project.

Second, Min Heejin currently markets herself as THE creative director (now also the executive producer and CEO), not as EX-SM creative director. It just happens that she worked for SM for more than a decade and created an era for SM Entertainment. It is HER work. Does she not have the right to talk about the art she herself created? It's her ideas and her soul. It is also her PAST, part of her identity and can't be separated from her, can it? It is not like any of that is a lie. I don't understand what is so wrong about MHJ talking about her own works or being known for everything she created. Her role as creative director is what matters, not SM. and she or HYBE never used SM to mediaplay. They don't need it LMFAO

To clarify, she didn't leave SM because she was seduced by HYBE, as many SM stans think. She was recruited by HYBE after months of her leave for HYBE rebranding project. That was supposed to be her only work, but Bang PD and her found common language which resulted in her becoming CBO and then CEO of ADOR. Also, she was never insulted by HYBE groups' stans because they had no reason to do so. It's not like she is LSM? Unlike SM stans who started insulting her the moment it was revealed that she joined HYBE.

Third, there is nothing wrong with MHJ marketing her group as Min Heejin's girl group or Min Heejin's New Jeans. It is her creation, her ideas and her label. It is what she always wanted to do. The girls were scouted by her, the songs were made according to her vision, the concept is created by her. What is so wrong about her marketing the group which she created from the scratch as Min Heejin's New Jeans? This is different from her being just creative director for EXO. Plus, they are rookies. They aren't BTS' sister group or Bang PD's girl group, It is natural for her to use her name.....like you know... it's her group? unless you think she would use your name to market her group.

It is same as LSM's SNSD, YG's BigBang or JYP's Twice. SM stans literally exist because they like LSM and whatever he does. People check out BIG3 groups because they like what these 3 men created in the past. That's how brands are built and how BIG3 became BIG3.

Finally, It's funny to see you and SM stans having meltdown over successful woman who earned everything with her own hard work. You all act like bitter exes. After MHJ joined HYBE, SM stans have done nothing but discredit and hate her. It's time to move on and let that woman live her life. She literally minds her own business, but y'all act like she owes you something. And some of you losers would never question a man and his abilities, but look at successful woman with scornful eyes. It's beyond pathetic.

IMHO They aren't 4th gen. They are 3.5 gen. Just like IZONE, ATZ and SKZ.

Back then, when ITZY debuted, everyone said ITZY started 4th gen, but suddenly more and more 2018 (even lowkey 2017) groups got added to 4th gen talk, because some couldn't compete with 3rd gen and some was easy to add as they debuted in transitional period from 3rd gen to 4th.

As for GIDLE, they are great and very talented regardless of which gen they belong to. Their success was solid and growth steady. But it has always been like this, groups that debuted during generation shift always felt left out from both old and new generation competitions and talks.

Obsession with generations is very dumb and mostly 4th gen group stans are obsessed with it to create records. And no one makes records for 3.5 gen, so might as well add everyone in 4th gen. LOL

They are big agency, but they don't have solid foundation because transformation happened quickly and recently. They need time to adjust. It is true that they have displayed PR disaster in 2022. Some decisions make me question where their priorities lie. If they are impatient to prove themselves and prioritize their business ventures over artists, they will eventually earn distrust and fall harder.

Fromis9 is also from hybe but nobody care

I never said nobody would care about new girl group. I said they would have rather normal start because they don't have ex-survival show members or already established idols as members, they don't even have 1st HYBE NGG hype and don't have BigHit/Bang PD association. All they have going for is Min Heejin brand, which can only give them casual interest from people who know Min Heejin's works, but not a hardcore fandom that will 100% buy and stream their debut song/album. There will be certain curiosity from HYBE groups' stans, which can go as far as checking out the group. They are essentially boy group stans and majority won't necessarily stan gg just because of HYBE. Their pre-debut fandom as of now is small af, which makes sense as nothing is known about the group. Depending on the members and their talents, concept and music they can grow.

Fromis_9 comparison doesn't make sense. They are a group formed from not so popular survival show. Even though, they had Pledis association, they joined HYBE/Pledis officially recently. Fromis_9 is in their 5th year and is more or less established now, though they have room to grow, it makes zero sense to compare them to the group that is debuting now. ADOR NGG number of members, concept, music will be different from them, which is also deciding factor for groups popularity. To sum it up, when you are comparing something, context matters. We can only wait and see. :)

August is definitely exciting, but It is too early for LSFM’ comeback. It’s been barely 4 months since debut. They will most likely come back in September.

Not to mention, new HYBE GG/ADOR GG will most likely debut in August since they are starting introductions this Friday. It could be hit or miss, their pre-debut fanbase is small, so they will hardly be able to compete with big names.

I'm so looking forward to them!

It's certain that their concept will be amazing. After all, Min Heejin and her team have impressive experience. She overcame the period of burn out and psychological pressure and moved on, which allowed her to take this challenge. I am excited to see what she wants to show us.

Many probably haven't read her long interview, but she mentioned that she is a huge music fan and knows the trends and market well. Her love for music is actually what influenced her to become visual creative in the mainstream K-pop industry.

She said that she regularly participated in the selections of songs and musical direction group should take. Her job went beyond just creative director, so even though people think she is unproven in this field, I am sure she will do great job.

And there aren't many woman leading in this industry. It's well known that ador team mostly consists of women. I hope they succeed.
