PLUS Audition was indeed marketed as collaboration between BigHit x Source Music with Bang PD overseeing production, while Min Heejin would be in charge of creative direction and branding of the girl group and Soure Music taking care of management. Just like GLAM, but key role belonging to Min Heejin due to her rich experience.

There is no way creative director would leave even half of her work with others. Especially, if that person is Min Heejin, who has deep attachment to her own work and is too workaholic to let others take over her job. Also, If Source Music is using her ideas or anything created by her, they would be crediting her as it is her intellectual property, but Min Heejin is fully focused on ADOR and there is no indication that she has any involvement with Source Music GG. SouMu might be using anything but Min Heejin's work for their new girl group.

Also, you seem misinformed about Min Heejin's role in HYBE. She was hired solely for one purpose: to rebrand BigHit Entertainment into HYBE Corporation and held the position of CBO. That's what she said in You Quiz episode. But it seems like along the road, she and Bang PD exchanged ideas and negotiated to make her own agency, but first, she had to direct and debut Plus Audition GG.

After HYBE rebranding project was over, she mentioned in an interview that she had 3 missions in HYBE: 1) rebranding 2) Plus Audition GG 3) her own agency. Other than this, Min Heejin was never involved with any of HYBE labels, their branding or groups. HYBE website mentions her as "former CBO". Currently, her only position is the CEO of ADOR.

It feels a little odd to think that Source would have their name attached and be involved with the PLUS auditions if the original plan was to lose all attachments in the future once the group gets transferred to ADOR. Seems like there wouldn't have been a reason to call the PLUS auditions a collaboration project in the first place if the whole plan was to just to leave Source empty-handed in the end.

It is indeed odd that you think original plan might have been Source Music just attaching their name while expecting to lose everything in the future. Honestly, your logic doesn't even make sense. Source Music doesn't even have strong brand power to bring hype to GG, so why would they attach their name just for the sake of it. Original plan was to launch PLUS GG under Source Music, which later changed.

Source Music already had debt accumulated, PLUS GG finances were most likely taken care of BigHit Ent. In a way, It was a project to help Source Music, which had debts and was long overdue to debut group to at least strenghten their position. COVID didn't help either. Them giving up on PLUS project was probably accumulation of several factors: they couldn't handle PLUS project anymore, needed immediate results upon debut, but risk was too high + Min Heejin might have wanted full control over it. Anyways, nobody knows what went down, but seems like Min Heejin offered as an alternative to recruit Sakura, which is safer option for SouMu.

We don't know when they tried to recruit Sakura or when she agreed, it most likely happened a bit before IZONE disbandment (actually, that's what IZONE k-fans say too lol) and It was reported million times that her Japanese agency was the problem. They started forming group around Sakura and everything that happened w/ Chaewon or Minju was development of this plan. Crimson Heart twitter account was registered in July, so it was at least in works.

All of the webtoons have been only for the Big Hit affiliated groups (none of the Pledis groups got one). But Min Heejin seems like the type that she'll want the first ADOR GG to be known ONLY as an ADOR GG and not be some sort of collab group with Big Hit. The group seems to be her precious little baby so she seems to be set on having 100% control over it.

"Super Casting" project means idol groups are casted in NAVER Webtoons with Original Story made by HYBE. Nobody ever said that it was only for BigHit affiliated groups, so I don't know where this assumption came from. BigHit Music is currently 100% independent label, they aren't BigHit Ent. anymore, that's HYBE. ENHYPEN, ILAND GG, HYBE Japan BG - they all are HYBE projects and because HYBE is involved in production, they have or will have original stories/webtoons as it is Bang PD's ambition to create Marvel like universe.

Pledis groups didn't get one because they don't have strongly outlined universes, but it doesn't prevent them from getting one in the future. BTS' Webtoon has nothing to do with BTS Universe, it is completely different story. Just like BTS was casted into Webtoon, SVT, NUEST, FROMIS, etc could be too. In the end, It is up to their management if they want to. On the other hand, Source Music had storyline for GFRIEND, they will most likely continue tradition with new girl group and get storyline/webtoon.

Overall, I don't get the hype around Crimson Heart. I am not really interested in it, actually hope that you are right and it doesn't end up for ADOR GG. But even if they end up having OS/Webtoon (Crimson Heart, Red Marble or anything they might do in the future), it doesn't mean they are collab group, they will just be part of HYBE Universe. We need to leave BigHit alone, they are busy with BTS, TXT and upcoming Trainee A and other agencies' ggs are their last priority. None of upcoming girl groups will be collab with BigHit. Using same in-house producers, HYBE staff or resources doesn't make it "collab".

Anyways, I am sure both SouMu and ADOR GGs will debut before I-LAND airs in late June, we will see how it develops.

This is when they decided to scout Sakura and create a new Source group around her, to essentially take over all of the concepts and work created for the PLUS group.

PLUS Audition group's creative direction was originally led by Min Heejin. By saying this, you are suggesting that Min Heejin left all her hard work in Source Music for Sakura's group, which sounds unrealistic. It is most likely that Source Music started working on new concept as soon as they reached agreement with Sakura and confirmed plan for new girl group, while Min Heejin transferred PLUS Audition trainees and all her original work to ADOR. ADOR trademark was filed on April 1, so division might have happened already in early 2021.

If Crimson Heart is for Source Music girl group, it was most likely created after the plan to make new girl group around Sakura was confirmed. Who knows.

DM was produced by collapsedone & Justin Reinstein. They are the same people who did Feel Good, We Go.

Talk & Talk was produced by Denzil Remedios and Ryan S. Jhun. They have never worked with other HYBE groups, just Pledis. So far none of HYBE producers were involved with Fromis_9, unlike with GFRIEND. Apple and Mago were done by FRANTS and Bang PD.

So you should take it up to Pledis, who is in charge of management and music production. Actually, when will people understand that HYBE is like CJ or Kakao, they have multiple labels/subsidaries and those labels are responsible for their own artists. HYBE provides everyone with resources and operates the whole corporation, but each label maintains independent management, it's up to them whether they use in-house resources and help or seek outsourcing.

if you can't ven understand what you write '-'

Do you need my validation that much? I already gave enough credit, but your reading comprehension has failed you. So just work on improving it.

I am not really into ancient EXO vs BTS debate. Scores were settled long ago. BTS overshadowed EXO and their lore ages ago and you can see end result today. Honestly, I don't need to write essay on my faves impact. It's present everywhere anyways. So have a nice day? lol.

    that's so wrong '-'

And all of this doesn't change the fact that BTS took the popularity of lores to the new height, especially with global audience backing them up. It was followed by groups debuting with similar concepts that focused more on real life events, identity issues, youth struggles and gradual growth to accepting oneself, while including fantasy elements to some extent. I don't even need to mention Love Yourself series lol.

I have never discredited EXO in any way, It's up to you if you feel insecure about your faves impact. Me praising one doesn't automatically undermine other, there can be one or more causing popularity of something in different waves and influencing others. :)

I didn't say they relate. I am saying another gg will have the same concept of lore. Both the statements r not related to each other. Nmixx visuals remind people of loona to some extent. And yes loona doing it first for 4th gen ggs. Also if we go back even exo has some world concept when they debuted. Never heard of gfriend lore concept it wasn't popular? I am sure if u dig up you'll find more groups with lores but they aren't popular or lore wasn't really a huge part of the aesthetics. But yes loona was very much defined by this world building concept and this lore thing being more conceptual is looking more and more like a trend.

Regardless of what you meant, my point still stands. HYBE NGGs will have lore not because of LOONA, but because it's their thing since BTS. Even in 2017 and 2019 interviews, RM and Bang PD mentioned how BigHit wanted to create something similar to Marvel Universe, Star Wars or Disney, which naturally expanded to other groups like TXT, EN, Japan BG and upcoming girl groups.

Regardless of who did it first or how many groups did it in total, BTS was the one who popularized it with HYYH lore and it is arguably the most popular one out there. It lead to huge influx of lores in following years, be it for girl groups or boy groups, and not to trigger anyone, but clearly are inspiration for many of existing groups' lores. and I assure you, LOONA having lore or NMIXX being similar to LOONA has nothing to do with HYBE girl groups and them having their own storylines as it is passed down to them from BTS and not LOONA.

Even hybe gg will have it.

Nugu flop loona having so much impact

How does LOONA and HYBE NGG correlate? BTS had lore before LOONA was born and one of the widely known HYYH lore, on top of that. GFRIEND had lore before LOONA as well.

BELIFT GG having lore will make sense as HYBE is in charge of creative direction just like with ENHYPEN, Source Music GG having lore will make sense because GFRIEND had one before and as for ADOR, no one knows what Min Heejin is up to, but I guess it is LOONA impact that she created one of the best concepts in SM before LOONA debuted? LOL.

TXT participated in composing/writing Roller Coaster, Fairy of Shampoo, Maze in the Mirror, Ghosting, Wishlist, Way Home, Ice Cream, Balance Game, No Rules, Dear Sputnik, Frost, MOA Diary, Sweat, Sweet Dreams.

Beomgyu produced Maze in the Mirror, Huening Kai produced Dear Sputnik.

Yeonjun writes his rap parts in TXT songs. Also recently, in ENHYPEN song Blockbuster, he showed his abilities. TXT isn’t hip-hop group or group that includes rap in every single song. They only rap if it fits the song and yes, that doesn’t allow him to showcase his full potential. If they ever do hip-hop song, he will.

Their credits and artistic input has gradually increased over the time. The most important thing is that they have passion for making music and are actually working hard on it even if their creation doesn’t end up chosen.

Releasing solo songs or mixtapes is up to individuals. BigHit does not have creative control over them, members do. They have to come up with entire theme, concept, write and produce it themselves. It’s also time consuming especially when your schedule is packed. With TXT taking initiative to do more individual activities recently, I can see it happening in the future and it is not crime if they don’t. It’s up to them and they have the right to release mixtapes when they feel ready for it.

On the other hand, Trainee A seems to be hip-hop based group or that’s what they are aiming for, it makes sense to prove their rap skills and uh, authenticity with solo songs.

Also please stop putting your words into TXT mouths. They have never said anything like that, but I guess it’s fun to instigate fanwar based on your imagination.
