Everglow is the kind of group that I think is popular, but not many people have as their ult, it's like the typical group that multifandoms like.

On Instagram I think they are not doing bad but on YT most of their views on their channel MV's are from ads, it's true that pre-debut they have done some covers here and there that got like 1M views but let's be real unless you are really, really into K-Pop I doubt you have even heard about them.

Do yourself a favor and listen to the album, you can definitely tell some SM producers worked on some of those.

'Flippin' a coin' and 'Everybody's got a secret' are title track material, and if you like jazz, 'The eleventh day' is recommended.

For me, I'm actually surprised at the amount of users who like Billlie here, they are quite nugu but a lot of users like myself seem to really like them despite the not-so-good reception of their debut on other sites likes Reddit.

I like Cherry Bomb and Limitless more than Firetruck but the b-sides of the first mini are all like at least a 9 (except Once Again) imo, although I know you aren't a fan of Paradise, I absolutely love Wake Up, Another World, Paradise and Mad City. And I grew up to like Switch a lot too.

It will be interesting to see Dream on a "mixed K-Pop" concert on the west with audience, flashbacks of when 127 attended Kcon on NY and LA back on 2017.

Also, pretty interesting that it's on Europe and not on the US.

Honestly, I don't think I have a favorite lol, I think I appreciate both albums about equal, I think I slightly prefer Neo Zone title tracks but that's it, when it comes to b-sides both have songs I love and like, something positive about Sticker is that I feel like it has less slow songs I don't care about lol, but Neo Zone is very diverse... both have their pros and cons.

Every single transition in Universe is wonderful, but I love that high pitched sound after Haechan's second line (before Yangyang says "feel it" and the riff that comes in during the second part of Mark's rap in the second verse. Not to mention the acapella part.

About Punch... the producers were not lying when they said they took things out of like 100 songs... I also love the final part of Punch and the last chorus with ad-libs, something I would really like to highlight is on the last part of the last chorus (3:12 - 3:15), like it's almost impossible to listen to it on the song because of the vocals, but you can listen to it here:

It's like... idk, a guitar? a synth? an instrument I don't know? It's like pulsating and it adds that final epicness and tension to the dubstep-like end, and it only exists on that 3-second part of the final chorus just before the end, insane detail-oriented song.

SM often adds little twists and additions to NCT songs that are almost unrecognizable at first listen but I really appreciate after noticing to the point of obsession, and I will list some examples of this:

Earthquake chorus:

Just before the harmonization of "world" on the first part of the chorus there is another harmonization that is barely noticeable and concur at the same time as the "Hand wave" choreography (0:58) and (1:55).

Hello Future Last chorus/outro:

Whatever is happening on those last 40 seconds is so satisfying to hear, the addition of that synth improves the chorus even more, and those heavy sounds at the end with that final drop that for some reason remind of UFO's which perfectly matches the weird yet happy concept.

WayV's Kick Back:

I love all of those electronic sounds happening on the chorus going in and out. Also special mention to the 3 chords added on the 2nd prechorus (2:11) and bridge (3:10) that weren't there on the 1st prechorus.

I will keep posting more of these when I feel like it because there are too many examples.

All of them are so strong, personally I like Simon Says the most, but Punch is an underappreciated gem and Favorite's very satisfying to listen to

Peak of NCT, peak of 127 and peak of music me thinks, I'm still waiting to hear a bridge of any song THAT good, and the lyrics being about expectations on them and breaking molds just improve it, even the dancing is so sharp and hard as hell.

I think that could be nice, or some deep house like Dreaming. Also Deja Vu, something that could be a mix of juvenile yet hard-hitting, like something that Dream could have released on 2018.

Yeah, I can understand Dream not being pushed that much on Japan because NCT already has 127 doing good there and a japanese unit could eventually debut, but they sold +120k with Hot Sauce on Oricon and they haven't had any japanese song release so I think they also have potential, and I'm curious about how a japanese Dream song would sound.
