oh well, its not a charitable institution, hybe is a profit oriented co who values their rep . if nj betrays hybe though i think they are smart enough or their parents are smart enough not to fo that , hybe wont just let it go easily. they will definitely make sure nj will never be bigger w/o hybe. thats how business works🤷♀️

I don’t think we should take that as the members have spoken or that it’s their official answer. MHJ just said she informed NJ and their parents about her statement before issuing it when the news all broke out. It could be about supporting her clarifications and not the entire mess re independence. However, if the girls do clarify soon and choose MHJ - then we’ll know.
Hence I keep on saying I hope NJ and parents also got their own lawyers to look out for their best interest in this conflict between MHJ and HYBE.
if nj indeed is siding with mhj and decides to leave hybe, its gonna be their biggest mistake. even bp waited 7 yrs before they left yg. and we can categorically say bp kept yg afloat . u cant say the same thing with nj . profit wise, it may not impact hybe that much but they wont just let them go easily. hybe will definitely teach them a lesson so no other sublabels will stab them at the back again.

imagine what they would be able to do if they actually have access to all her creative ideas, marketing, promotions who are in her laptop
such a very naive take. its a company property . she is being paid to have creative ideas etc . if ur using company property and being paid to do it, it belongs to the company. and besides her ideas can be found in pinterest apparently or already in hybe drawing board yrs ago. the most likely scenario is that she wants to wipe it clean w/ no trace of her illegal activities😂

in music fest like this , its probably scheduled several months before esp when most hybe grps except for rookies are touring. its very likely that mhj is the one who refused to join when they are planning the wv con . she did mention she doesnt want her grp be " used" by hybe isnt it? she doesnt believe in multi label system and dont want her grp be associated with other hybe grps except bts of course😂

Yeah i am really mad at him* because he is ripping nj apart ultimatly through MHJ and i think he mistreated them badly this year

Mmmmm. I think if she stayed in sm for example, nj would have probably be with ningning, winter, lami and jungyeon primarly. All these girls are also very pretty and talented, specially winter. Winter would have turned Ditto into a heavenly song btw.
What im trying to say is that nj members are special, more than that they're exeptional. But they're not the only special singers/trainees. Special people exist everywhere, they're rare but still.
I don't think they would have the same impact tho even just on the korean gp, but it only takes a special vision and special people to make something special happen.
Music is in the end a very collaborative field. As I said, NJ as of now is the child of mhj/njmembers/hybe. All elements were needed for SUCH outcome (exactly) to happen. But the most important element is the MIND that made this vision, picked the girls, choose the producers, composers etc...
Without her NJ could have never happen in any way or shape. But NJ could have happened (differently ofc) without the current members.
NJ is basically a long term/project of mhj. It's like a visual/musical book she has been ruminating for years. It's very dear to her. Very personal. It's a whole story.
Of course trainees are very important. She herself says that the sélection process is essential. And i trust in her casting skills in or out of hybe or sm. So yes i do think she could have conveied her vision beautifully without the current njs girls but if would have been quite différent.
But the girls wouldn't have been the same either without ador/mhj training. Yes MHJs presence is very strong but so are the girls. But the girls without mhj and with mediocre music? They wouldn't make the same impact. MHJ brings the best out of them.
And most importantly, the music would have stayed the same. And it would have slapped anyway with the right voices.
4/5 nj members are source trainees under hybe. they went to hybe not bec of mhj but bec its hybe. mhj just happens be there but regardless they are meant to debut under hybe😂

Re the HYBE vs Kaokao/SM the legal firms - yes, HYBE lost the takeover but since then it’s been proven with arrests that illegal activities occurred during this process by Kaokao/SM. And MHJ hires the same firm that handled Kaokao/SM - interesting.
Re the MHJ sending staff to document evidence of plagiarism by other groups - surely there are paper trails from this too.

This Min Heejin person has actually managed to brainwash almost all kpop fans to believe that she is actually the sole reason behind NewJeans existence and success. And I think this is what she herself believes as well. Which is why we have all this fiasco. (There are other reasons too but I don't want to get to them since I don't want to talk about this drama at all).
She made sure that she was always in the news with anything NewJeans related since the beginning. Since NewJeans members debuted when they were barely 18 or below 18 with no prior information about their talents, it made easier for fans to buy into NewJeans not being capable enough to become as good or big as they did without Min Heejin.
I would understand if non fans would attribute an artist's success to producers or companies but even their fans (who I expect to follow them enough to know more about their talents and skills and passion) believe that their faves 100% depend on her. They literally think NewJeans cannot exist without Min Heejin even after almost 2 years into their career. I have seen so many different types of fans since I got into kpop but this is quite the most unusual types of fans I have to say.
I guess this is why there is so much panic amongst them and they are scrambling now even though they know NewJeans will stay as a group regardless what happens in this case because they do not have enough trust in NewJeans members as they do in Min Heejin.

What trajectory? What chart? People really will say anything.
In what world is one song charting at the top of the charts comparable to an entire album charting at or near the top of the charts?
Outside of Magnetic, despite additional promo, their other songs aren't charting.
NewJeans charts like peak IU. Literally all their songs on every album get streams and lots of them.
A 32 second interlude charted for weeks on MelOn and got 100 million streams on Spotify. Their album intro song, NewJeans, outcharted most girl group releases in 2023.
Their follow up to their debut album, OMG, saw them shatter a PAK record held by BTS and break a Big Bang record by sitting at 1 2 and 3 on every chart for 3 consecutive months.
There are levels to this. No girl group has replicated this. Not even ILLIT.
it doesnt matter how many songs it is . but what charted higher . no one is saying illit is better than nj but chart wise magnetic did better, their title track both internationally and locally. illit is just a 3 week old grp. ul never know if they can accomplish more than nj. success doesnt need to be completely the same trajectory . bts did not immediately become a hit and yet they are bigger than the whole kpop industry. and they did really start from scratch. rn, u cant really say if nj will be that massive immediately if they did not debut under hybe.

The blue print and the resources.
Le Sserafim used a different blue print and they have been successful thanks to Hybe Resources and Izone former members popularity.
But as someone pointed out to me before, there are limits to Hybe resources, Fromis_9 lack of popularity is an example of that.
bec they did not create fromis 9 nor train them? like u cant really credit hybe for all svt achievements right? they are not their original trainees nor did hybe create them.. they made svt bigger but thats it . but its different with tws since all hybe tactics for training and devt are applied to them including opportunities upon debut

if illit success is faked , it begs the question maybe nj too. like they also have massive pl isnt it? promoted as bts sister etc etc, got to work with bts member, did tt challenge with almost all hybe artists . in fact, most of their most popular vids are with hybe artists ( bts , svt )expose them to massive hybe bg fd wanting to like a gg connected to their faves.
while i honestly think nj deserves the success cuz they all have star quality that kpop best represents , i will not give full credits to mhj even half of it . id say 30% hybe,30% mhj,40% new jeans .

maybe nj individually are more talked abt its true but chart wise i can say illit did better with magnetic - hot 100 entry, spotify, apple music and kchart wise . its measurable & back up by hard data. how will u say nj did well? what hard data do you have? i mean yes obviously people love them and talked abt them indivually more than illit members but apart from that what else? im talking abt their debut cuz u cant really compare illit with almost a two yr old grp overall achievements right? u need to compare it based on what they achieved yr by yr, month by month if u wanna more detailed😂.
