"if 2ne1 debuted now they would have the same things as bp" the answer to that is no. 2ne1 was legendary for their time, but blackpink's reach would have still been greater than them. blackpink's image perfectly fits the modern pop girl, 2ne1 was too alt to be mainstream, even if their music is produced by the same person. it's the execution.
and if it's because "kpop has made more inroads" then more than just bts and bp would be performing like they do (twice is at early 2018 bp level rn internationally)
snsd may have done a lot to expand kpop into the rest of asia but blackpink has taken it and made it mainstream (along with acts like bts and psy ofc) to the point where blackpink stands and performs with the biggest pop artists of this gen (dualipa, selena, ariana (wrote parts of ice cream), lady gaga, cardi b, megan the stallion)
blackpink has by far done more for popularizing girl groups outside korea than snsd at this point. pretty much all the newer kpop stans come from bts or bp. snsd might have started the hallyu wave, but bp is the female act that actually took kpop out of the sphere of asia (minus wondergirls, but wondergirls was a one hit thing)
you're downplaying bp by saying it's just because of when they debuted, when they are THE ONLY GIRL GROUP performing at their level. if it was natural then someone with more "talent" than bp would be the biggest gg rn, but they're not.
