i read somewhere the one he used is more like e-scooter with a seat ??
is it just a kickboard scooter or more like an e-bike ?? -
this kinda remind me when bobby called out alot of idol rapper and alot of idol rapper go out and release their mixtape for their take.
ngl kinda wanna see this for female rapper. -

coz kpop forums are kinda dying. im not active in here back in the day but more active on OH.
if i leave for an hour and refresh the page there's gonna be alot of new thread and post.
now in here even if i leave this page for 2-3 hours if i look at the las post on the last thread on page 1. its 8 hours ago. -
Out of many mistakes they made, I think the biggest one is posting their contract online on instagram. They're pretty much cooked in entertainment industry regardless of the damages lawsuit result (if they have to pay up or not).
First this will make it hard for them to be signed by anyone or be signed at decent company with good conditions which is what they would desire of course - a company will most likely put and want extra clauses to protect themselves from them breaking contract again which will probably land them with slave contract situation.
Even if their parents start agency for them, they still have to work with people in industry: music producers, production crews for MV etc, broadcasting stations (that is if they aren't blacklisted forever) which knowing their reputation and them leaking contracts will be super hard.
I think their only chance at music rn is being a youtube singer and making covers and hope you turn into someone so popular (like Raon Lee with over 4 million subscribers for example) that you have chance to make any serious profit. I think their only realistic solution is going to study and be regular people.
even raon signed with universal iirc.
plus raon is popular coz of anime community and i dont think k-pop cover channel can really get big ??
coz even alot of k-pop idol is covering other artist songs, so if you search a certain song cover other k-pop artist will likely pop out first. if that make sense ?? -
Taemin - the one and only son of MJ. Idol of Idols. IMHO best dancer in Kpop! One of the best performers in Kpop! Centre of SuperM(this group was built around him). Has one of the best solo discographies in kpop! We Shawols even joke that he is the second coming of Jesus! One of the most influential idols in the industry! The one and only ACE. The ACE term in kpop was created by him, because of his solo debut (Ace mini album). He is not an Idol but a true Artist! He is one of the most worcaholic idols in the industry! He was said that he was tone deaf! But he practiced days and nights and now can be a main vocal almost in any group!
I can continue but, they are the true kings!
the thing is before the hiatus if u correlate any k-pop idol to MJ it's gonna be taeyang coz iirc during his white night day his music is so mj/justin timberlake coded.
with vical too in suga interview suga asked at some point taeyang vocal is kinda different.
taeyang said around 2013/2014 he started to get comfortable/confidence with his vocal tjat's when we see him pop off with eyes nose lips and in all made project.
about "worcaholic" what defines it ?? coz even if yg artist wrote hundreds of songs and yg only let them release 1 album every 2-3 years does that mean they're not "worcaholic" ?? -
It happens, but very rarely. It will likely be a long time before relations stabilize enough for China to become a viable market again for anything outside of album sales.
give me an example, coz it either macau or hong kong after THAAD issue.
even exo cancelled their all their mainland show except 1 during exo planet 3.
hell i dont even think i see any k-pop that is not chinese promote in mainland china.
the last i remember is G-dragon became became a model for a drink in 2020 iirc and it kinda became a big deal how he can land those deal despite the ban. -

I don't use YT as a creator for like a decade or so. All I know is from companies I work for.
Even if they split the revenue, it's not that much. I mean, most Kpop FAN channel doesn't have 100s of millions of views.
The 30 second rule is true, because I've seen it on YT, Tiktok and even Insta, but I think on Insta it's 1 minute. Doesn't really matter because Tiktok and Insta is different, it's really hard to earn money on these 2.
Also, yes, it depends on the labels, but you can trick the system with some tricks. Make the song a bit faster or slower or for MV reactions, adding some layer on the video or just skip a couple of scenes.
that not true also for tiktok coz tiktok and the label already made a deal for their music to be used for up to 30 sec.
so it's not "you can post everybody music they wont get paid"
we already know this coz of tiktok and universal conflict that's happening at the beginning of this year.
they remove alot of universal music from tiktok.
so, if the label want to they could removed it coz they have the right to it. -
Ads are bought by YG, so yeah.
Shorts are different, I'm not 100% sure about that, but I'm pretty sure that under 30 minute you can use any song without copyright issues and the owner won't get any money from it either. That's the whole point, the reason agencies let people to do this because it gives them more PR.
So technically, you're right, you can't monetize the videos, because YT instantly blocking it, and that's the other reason why companies won't see any money from those.
The reaction videos are different. You can monetize those IF you're lucky, but 99% of the time the channel owners disable that, because they know YT will delete it anyway, so YG won't get any from those either.
this piqued my interest and i started digging.
iirc shorts are different coz it's a fixed/pool budget system idk if its changed already.
and it did say this on youtube help about short Source- If a monetizing creator uploads a Short without any music, all of the revenue associated with its views goes into the Creator Pool.
- If a monetizing creator uploads a Short with music in it, then YouTube will split the revenue associated with its views between the Creator Pool and music partners based on the number of tracks used.
idk if the below 30 minutes video is true or not coz i've been there and got copyright claimed and the vids still got ads running on it and you can see who's the copyright holder on the youtube studio, etc.
so i just check on my old vids and they even put sugested on the top right of the video with "i" symbol and it direct me taeyeon newest music video heaven. it's a 8-9'yo vids that have "taeyeon - i" in it and got claimed by s.m.
just found that out and that's pretty neat system ngl.
they wont delete video coz that's not on youtube but on the copyright holder.
kpop label want the exposure (video) but still want the youtube ads money.
as soon as you upload to youtube the content id will detect the song.
so even tho you turn off the monetization on youtube studio if yt detect you used copyrighted content ads will still play on that video and the profit goes to the copyright owner.
or at least that what i understand from what i read rn.
SourceA Content ID claim is automatically generated when an uploaded video matches another video (or segment of a video) in YouTube's Content ID system. Depending on the copyright owner's Content ID settings, Content ID claims can:
- Block a video from being viewed
- Monetize the video by running ads on it, sometimes sharing revenue with the uploader
- Track the video’s viewership statistics
if that's sounds like only for videos but not music,, it's basically a redirect from here about music SOURCE
which kinda saying the same thing but just longer.so it depents on the label content id setting. alot of kpop company just set it to claim
j-pop label will instantly block it. -
Actually, no, YG is dumb as hell! Trust me, they don't even got the money back what they spent on Ads. Doesn't matter which category they use.
"On average, YouTube advertising costs $0.11 - $0.50 per view or action, with businesses typically setting a daily budget of $10."
And this is what you get from YT!
This whole ad views for articles. It's literally throwing money out of the window for zero reason, because they don't win anything. More views can help them win Music Show Awards or popularity Awards on MAMA or MMA like Jisoo did it with FLOWER.
But do people think this is a good thing? You have a talented group, you want to make them an Award winner group because they have 200M views? No one in this industry will take them seriously, and it's already showing, btw. That's why they're flopping with FOREVER.
They have massive numbers on YT even without ads, YG should spend these billions on real PR and hiring real producers and writers.
Just look at Kiss of Life, or back in the days, Sistar, Mamamoo or Gidle. They proved that you only need good songs and approachable members to be successful.
you forgot the strongest tool in Youtube which is the copyright detection.
pretty sure you cannot really monetized anything that have copyrighted song in it.
meaning a part of the profit or even the whole ads profit from the video will go to the copyright owner.
parts or all those yt shorts challenge and reaction videos profits will go to YG. -
idk. he wrote and produce lies all by himself.
Well, of course, obviously GD is GD and Soyeon is Soyeon, they're separate persons - 1 is male the other is female - with their own careers, so naturally there'll be differences.
But in the category 'great idol performers that also compose/songwrite/produce their own groups' top hits with great success' aren't really that many idols hanging around.
Besides GD and Soyeon, who else who can also stand on their own (so not just 'co-credits' in a long list of contributors for 1 song)?
Also 'Tomboy' put (G)I-dle in the spotlights and lifted the group to a higher tier since then, anyone else recall how (G)I-dle wasn't even included in the top 4th gen gg discussions before Tomboy, or at best as an afterthought?
is there a song that credit soyeon as a sole writer and producer ?? only herself wihout any other person?
coz iirc GD did that with 'lies' -
that whole post makes no sense
Sakura was already repping LV before NJ debuted. NJ have individual brand deals so they can't rep LV as a group, there'd be conflict of interest. You can't rep Gucci and LV at the same time. LSF's LV deal came long after NJ signed their individual brand deals with Dior, Gucci, Chanel etc. And Hyein has an individual brand deal with LV too.
iirc her lv deal is unber her japanese side. she is signed under different label for solo promotion in japan. cmiiw

Yes, and Nagomi and Serina were on that show too? So, if they were popular on that show, they will already have some Japanese attention and fans.
And IS:SUE hasn't debuted yet and are still pretty popular (even though they didn't make it into ME:I). I see J-netz talk about them a lot and their KCON tiktoks are popping off.
serina rank 21 and nagomi rank 23. honestly i dont really pay attention to serina while watching the show coz there's always a couple of people in her team that always overshadowed her in all of performance/evaluation.
but nagomi vocal are pretty decent.External Content www.youtube.comContent embedded from external sources will not be displayed without your consent.Through the activation of external content, you agree that personal data may be transferred to third party platforms.
