You are only looking at top groups who have albums being bought by international fans. But kpop isn’t just 20 groups.
It’s made up of hundreds of groups and most of these groups are majorly consumed in Korea. K-pop’s biggest market according to official report is still Korea. We shouldn’t use the few groups doing well internationally to overwrite or generalize everyone under the umbrella.

Uh, no. Actually majority of Kpop groups do get their sales outside of Korea. Look at most 4th gen BGs, nugu in Korea but easily sell over 500k.

But how many bgs are selling over 500k though. And BTS biggest album sales is still SK even though they pull insane amounts from other countries. I think you are misunderstanding the 500k international album sales. Even if a group sells 100k albums in Korea and sells 400k albums internationally, obviously these 400k albums are not coming from one country u like the 100k which is solely from one. So SK is very important because they hold the biggest fraction in a lot of groups’ sales.
There’s lots of good information to digest here

Exactly, how many groups are selling over 500k? From the hundreds of groups that debut each year, only a handful of GGs manage to cross 100k (the only 2020 rookie to cross 100k sales are Aespa and StayC, IVE is the only big GG seller from 2021). For BGs, it's the same thing. Not many cross even 200k, let alone 500k. And 90% of 4th gen groups can't even manage to chart on Genie and Bugs for at least a week, which are known to be the most fandom driven charts, so no, I don't think Korea is as much as important for album sales as you say. Countries like Philippines, Malaysia and US for some groups like Ateez and SKZ probably contribute more towards their album sales than Korea. Other 4th gen groups are even nugu than them both in and out of Korea.
For 3rd gen groups, the importance is even less. Biggest example is TWICE. Significant decrease in their fandom in Korea yet their sales continue to rise.
The link that you shared has no info about album sales from what I saw. The picture you posted is all in Korean, I don't understand it.
