Whether visuals or personality are more important to you in an idol greatly depends on how you interact with the group. If you watch variety and religiously follow their social media then personality and charisma is a must, but if you're a casual that only watches mvs/performances and listens to the music, looking at the pretty member is oftentimes enough.
