I mean it's the same around the world really. Leaders are more selfish, more radical and less trustworthy.
Our prime minister Boris Johnson explicitly broke his own lockdown laws by building parties multiple times while everyone else was fined or forced to let loved ones die alone whenever it was brought up he habitually lied in national TV.
