The list is a little confusing. They may not be including December 2021 concerts, but are going December 2020 to November 2021. Global Wave was December 2020.

Twice and NCT 127 both broadcast their lives in December 2021, so if the account is not including December 2021, that may be why they're not here. (Just hypothesis.)

Nonetheless, interesting to see. The continuing loyalty and brand power of Shinee and EXO.

Online concerts are here to stay, because the overhead of traveling equipment and staff is less expensive...but you just get 1 or 2 shows, whereas touring you get unique experiences that the fans want and make more money from doing a world tour with 30 shows.

Plus touring is the biggest money-maker in music and labels are itching to do concerts again.

Even YG already announced their newest artists, TREASURE is touring at the end of this year with 155,000 audience. BIGBANG, BLACKPINK, WINNER and iKON are sure to follow...AKMU was even touring right before the pandemic.

Live events is so much a part of YG's image, that's sort of their branding. You debut an artist then they go on tour. IKON was the quickest Kpop group from debut to Dome tour. They rush into touring. That's why it's been so strange to see YG debut and comeback with artists this past year and a half, because they are the "touring label", it's what they're good at and it's the biggest assets of their artists...live performance.

It's why it was so shocking to see that YG and YGPlus had their biggest sales and revenue records in history last year with a combined $425 million. All without touring. I think the pandemic taught a lot of labels to diversify their business and not rely on one thing or you're not going to make money.

However, certainly online concerts are here to stay and will be more prevalent in the future...which is why YG, Hybe and UMG invested in VenewLive. The largest online concert platform.

It's also the reason why YG and Naver are building the largest SFX/VFX Studio in Korea.

With that, the intention is that movies, TV shows will be filmed there but mostly online concerts will be held...that not only YG and Hybe artists will use, but other labels will most likely purchase time there too.

BTS did so well as expected.
