Hello! I almost posted this tomorrow (April Fool's Day is tomorrow for me), but decided against it and figured I should do it today instead. So, we all know that K-Pop has some pretty messed up sides to it. This includes some very questionable "pranks". Of said "pranks", which ones make you the most angry and/or you think were the worst? I got inspired from this video I saw a while back on YouTube, and seeing the thumbnail today sparked unearthed memories.
Mine are not ranked/listed in any particular order. For some of these, I forgot who the person was. If you know, you can comment and let me know. I think the two I forget the names of are most likely in one of the videos, I'm just too lazy to look, I'll come and check back later. Anyway, for mine, I would say:
1) I forget who it was, I can probably go back in the video and check, but they basically pretended to kidnap someone and they even tied them up and had someone pretend to be a saesang near them. That's messed up on so many layers, I don't even know where to start. I just hope that idol has mostly recovered, if they got severely traumatized from that (but honestly, who wouldn't be?).
2) When some people put a girl with a fear of water in a closed container with and filled it up with water while she was in it. No. Just no. I have a fear of deep water (as in water over my head), so I kind of get it. Not the same, I know, but if someone forced me to go in deep water (or shoved me in), even though I know how to swim, you'd best believe I'd enact some revenge on them for what they did. Not cool at all.
3) When BTS went on American Hustle Life and people pretended to kidnap them. They looked legitimately scared (at least before the truth was revealed) and I didn't find it one bit funny. Was it really necessary?
4) When Hendrey and Lucas from NCT (forget the second member's name), were locked in a room full of frogs. Hendrey has an intense phobia of frogs and Lucas is afraid of them. They had to do some sort of mission with said frogs too, to make matters worse. I get that the staff or whoever was in charge figured it would be entertaining and dramatic, but no. Scaring people that much is never a good thing. Lucas tried to shield Hendrey from them and called out the staff for doing something so evil. Thankfully, Ten and Yangyang came to finish the puzzle.
Thank you to @quarkie who corrected and fixed some of the information for this one.
What do you think are the worst pranks? Have a great day/night!
