Can you forgive someone who is not sorry?

I can understand where you are coming from

but My hero has told me to not hold Grudges

so i forgive them, cause i look at things out of their POV and try to understand why they arent sorry

there's only 2 people in the world i cant forgive ( My dad and my EX)

No, in the sense that I'm done with them. If it's severe enough that I have to really work to forgive someone who doesn't care to be forgiven, then I need to make the choice that they're no longer welcome in my life.

I'm petty, so my default is not to forgive someone if they knowingly did something wrong and feel 0 remorse.

Yes. I'm terrible at holding a grudge. If I care about a person I'll forgive them even if they hurt me and don't show remorse over it. For me it's the constant small things that make or break it.

I prefer them being responsible for themselves than feeling guilty.

Yes, because I would want to move on. If the person isn't apologetic, for psychological reasons, that's not my problem to solve.

it's the way one goes about it that matters...

it might lead to self-destruction behaviour in one person and yet in another it might motivate them to do better push themselves to be better than the other person...

for me no sometimes even if they say sorry it's not enough...I judge a person or thing by its consequences and sometimes saying sorry isn't enough

Nope, but I just move on and don't give too much thought/hold any grudges since I also rarely feel sorry for anything I do or say so can't judge them too much on it. Though I try to be a decent human being and respect everyone
