What one thing did it finally make you realize (and accept) that you're getting old?

Waking up one day and the energy is gone and pain just took over instead and this becomes the new normal from now on.

Edit: oh and paying income tax. Death and taxes I guess.

Err I accepted I was old mentally while ago before I even hit 20..so...im just waiting for my body and actual age to catch up.

I have a 16 year old coworker and I could not relate to anything he said. He seemed so innocent and sheltered to me. He mostly talks about his school, his classes and his exams. I couldn't recall many things about my secondary school days and it hit me that I'm no longer a youth. Can't relate to youths anymore.

I'm turning 18 in 2 days I'm so sad I want to be a teenager forever

When some people that just stepped into adulthood already talk about moving out, marriage or kids while I on the other hand... Some of them are even married and already starting a family. I can't even imagine myself having a kid after high school. I don't feel like I'm mature enough at that stage.

Also, the fact that idols my age or younger are debuting right now is a weird experience ngl xdd
