Why does Music Core allow artists to win more than 3 times with same song?

I thought music bank does the same

I thought that all music shows except for Music Bank barred groups and artists from winning more than 3 times

edit: never mind, I just checked and saw that Music Core has a long tradition of allowing groups and artists to win more than 3 times. IU, BTS, Zico, Blackpink and WannaOne are some of the people that preceded Taeyeon, going back as far as 2018 and earlier.

I like this rules tho. It just show what music is actually in demand 🤷. I don't think anyone should feel offended with this rules as it is quite fair. And if the new songs can't beat the months ago old song, well is that obvious that the song not even deserve to win in the first place?

Music Core's "Quintuple Crown" rule started in February 2021; before that, the show didn't have a limit on wins.

And if newer acts fail to win against an old month song then the problem is on them.

Basically it's another Music Show that is rigged for Idols to win even if they aren't charting high.

INVU is one of the Idol exceptions, well what can you expect from a song that has topped the GAON Digital Weekly Charts for 4 weeks :P
