i hate any kind of pepper; bell peppers and all types of "paprika" as we call it, trigger migraines.
i HATE spicy food, i don't eat it, i don't even want to see it

if only i could be hermetically sealed and stay alive during paprika season. it's hell
especially when everyone starts making this thingy
everyone likes it and the smell is everywhere. does it need to be homemade, buy it in a supermarket

Yeah this is why I asked
I don't think our country cuisines have big assortment of spicy food. Like look at Mexican food! I just talked with my friend that I wouldn't survive Mexican spicy food.
Few days ago I watched one grandma making kimchi and she added tons of paprika and spice I almost fainted

yes, but my tolerance for it is very low

thankfully! yes, it's not common to eat spicy food, if someone likes it then they are branded as "the one who likes spicy food" :D people tho like hot ajvar, it's not that rare.
my friend lived in mexico for six months. first time they went to eat he asked his hosts if that particular food was spicy, they said no. after the first bite he felt like he was about to spit fire

Yeah I definitely shouldn't visit Mexico and avoid Mexican restaurants if I want to come back home in one piece

i think that mexican restaurants here are bearable (if you are into peppers which it can't be said for me ) but eating actual mexican food in mexico

Depends on the type of spice. I hate wasabi, but I love adding gochujang when I cook stews for example.
But yeah, I do love spicy food in general.
