as many others have said, nah. and i'm fine with that. you do have good singers in kpop, but good singing =/= good song, whether a song is good or not depends on the songwriter

Good vocal skills or rapping skills have a minimal impact on whether you make it in K-pop or not.

What's more important is if you have one or more hit songs and whether your company is able to promote your group well or not.

Personal traits that make a larger difference is charm/visuals/being able to be a stan attractor, and performance skills.

Me? Talent? lmao. I could probably get away with rapping I guess. But my weak anemic butt can barely run for one minute straight without wanting to pass out, I can't imagine practicing dance for hours, worse when I have no rhythm. I'd be one of those idols always needing oxygen off stage.
