Some kpop fans need to think about this stuff more before screaming plagiarism

Someone posted this before, but I forgot to leave a comment. Imagine if some of these so called plagiarisms in K-pop are actually songs using the same samples?

As long as they paid royalty and credited the OG, why does it matter?

People should check the credits for the songs before screaming plagiarism

it is a little disheartening to find out that nearly every song out there is just a remake of another song, but it's not illegal so there's really nothing to get offended by

Plagiarism has a very specific definition, that I think most kpop fans don't fully understand.

It's much more specific than songs sounding similar.

That's very true. K-pop stans could learn a lot reading about plagiarism lawsuits.

Plagiarism ≠ samples

There is so much recorded music out there that the probability of overlap and stuff is growing exponential by each album drop.

There was a better video explaining this but yea who let the dogs out had this really big knots on who made it first lol

Royalty free is the way to go because Economics.
