Much like ITZY's okay digitals were overshadowed by Dalla Dalla's extreme success.

No, but kpop fans love to "forget" about others groups success just to downplay them or worse, they know nothing about the group and just go with the "i heard they were always flops, so to me who know nothing about them they are flops"

Personally, I think a lot of songs on their first album did really well with some other ones thrown in. My Type, Rhythm Ta, WYD, Apology, Goodbye Road, and Dumb and Dumber.
Love Scenario being the biggest of course, My Type being a nice sized hit, and the other ones doing really well but not necessarily making a lot of noise or leaving a huge impression.

Just because one of their songs is astronomically bigger than the rest doesn't make them a one-hit-wonder. One-hit wonders are groups like Crayon pop.

No, I'm talking about their debut year, Ikon was doing good/great and suddenly were shipped to Japan (touring non stop and with no releases almost), went inactive and didn't have time to build a stronger fb or being in the public eyes enough.

.My concern with this chart is that, according to such a methodology, a song that spent one day at #1 and then immediately fell to oblivion would be considered a bigger hit than one that claimed the #2 spot for an entire year.

Okay but plenty of songs can hit #1 and fall off and plenty of songs can stay in the top 5 for a long time with out ever hitting #1

they had 3 succesful songs my type, love scenario and rhythm ta to some extent
there are other few songs early in their career that did alright so calling them one hit wonder feels wrong. I mean there are boy groups that not even can get a song in the top 10 on melon.
also iKON's situation is a bit sad their leader and main composer had to leave iKON so they couldn't capitalize on their success of love scenerio. Not to mention that early in their career they were shipped off to Japan to go on tour there and literally overworking them . I personally think iKON is one of the most mismanaged YG groups along with BP.
