no I build my borders, badges, and other stuff around my dp and sig pics. Not the other way around.

I'm not sure I've ever sorted my allkill aesthetics or badge layout and tried to find an aesthetic that would match it.
My process is going to tumblr, finding a gif set I like that I think would make a good aesthetic and then build my external aesthetics based on what the sig and pfp I put together.

yeah same I find a video I like, then make all the gifs from it myself. After uploading them, I pick badges and anything else that I like to match.
Though sometimes I have an idea of what I'd like to use before hand if I have a video in mind. My next aesthetic will be using gifs that are green/red, so I'll be using mainly green and red badges and other stuff. I have badges in mind that I think I will use.

I pick pfp and sig before choosing badges, color scheme, emblem etc.
Exception is if I just bought a new badge that I want to display

Ah, I see. Since I always like to explore different things, I don't usually have a plan for my next aesthetic, I just see what I like. It's usually a really basic plan like I came up with this one because I'm like "I want something that somewhat represents Valentine's Day since it's in a few days)
And with my last Jihyo aesthetic, I wanted a Jihyo-themed aesthetic for her birthday so that's what I did lol

yeah like for me, I have so many aesthetics I like to try out, so sometimes I come up with ideas in my head... so some aesthetics can be more planned then others. My goal this year is to make an aesthetic for each shinee member. I've done two Onew aesthetics last year, and now I'm currently rocking Key so now I want to switch to Taemin. I've dug through some photos and videos for fun to see what I like, and I found a video that has green/red colors so I think I'll follow through and make an aesthetic out of it at some point.
I'm being slow though because there are specific badges that I want for it and I need to be a little bit richer. Thankfully, this aesthetic being partially red will give me an excuse to finally get Jjong's and Taemin's badges because those use red, and there are some green badges I have been eyeing. Takes a lot of time to get akorns though. Really need to ramp up my lexicon entries I think haha.
So yeah if I see a video that really pulls me, I'll plan kind of but sometimes I don't always have a video in mind, in which case, I'll search for something nice and create everything as I go. It depends! My P1harmony aesthetic of Theo I made on the whim awhile back and after seeing it was kind purple/yellow, I got some purple and yellow things for it.

Like I tried making my own gifs for Twice Jihyo's performance project (where they cover a song, sometimes dance to it) because it just came out and I wanted an aesthetic for it ASAP. I tried to make my own gifs and it took HOURS to get it how I wanted and it still didn't look that good so I got lazy and started just finding them on tumblr.

yeah I'm better at making gifs now but they can take awhile though. I'm striving to improve though and got a handle at editing color and adding slight effects and stuff. But there was a learning curve to that...
yeah with all the new badges coming out... it's kind of hard to keep up. So many that I want, but will never get
My stan list is around 30 (ik it's a lot fjka;) so I legit want so many things. Life would be so much easier if I just stanned like 2 groups but eh I chose the hard way lol.You can totally do an aesthetic for each twice member! That would be cool!
