That's what I was thinking...it reminds me of nicknames used in childhood but are changed at a certain point to a more mature nickname.

Like if your childhood nickname was Timmy then your mature nickname would probably be Tim

Idk why she would change it now but it's her decision so I can't complain!

I like it. Binnie was like a child's nickname so I can't blame her.

i wonder if shes pulling a seohyun for acting. thats the only way it makes sense

I don't really like the name change. I mean, she could have promoted under her real name for acting gigs and extra-OMG activities and stay as Binnie for the group's promotions. It looks like a minor change but it feels like a major one. I like stage names for OMG.
