Has your dislike towards one member ever deterred you from stanning a group?

Yes. I dislike a lot of idols, I listen to their music though but I will never be a fan

mostly bc Im lazy and cant be bothered to know anything about idols to dislike them

I stopped re-stanning a group because I absolutely despise, hate, disgusted at one member and it doesn't matter if that member was kicked out, it left such a bad taste.

I stopped stanning because I just was so focused more on girl groups but after this member, it put the nail in the coffin of ever stanning them in the future.

Hm I don't think I've ever experienced that. There are a couple of idols out there I dislike, but I never wanted to to stan/have stanned them to begin with.

yeah, I was actually really excited for that member at first but gradually he/she disappointed me.

Not the sole reason, but I could never really get into Twice partly because of Dahyun.

She just seemed reaallllllllly fake and it turned me off at the start. Likey changed my stance on them, but I still can't really watch any variety content of theirs other than Runningman.

Yes. The ones with bully controversy or political controversy or committed crimes.

I remember there was a group I got really interested in because the music was so good but after that member that caught my attention came out with the controversy it just changed my whole mind. (This actually applies to two groups now that I think about it).

Oh. Also, there is one exception where there is no controversy. I don't particularly hate this member, but the circumstances in which they made the group seriously disgusted me to the point I just ignore the group even though I really liked all the other members.

There is one where one member makes me so uncomfortable I could never consider myself a stan of the group but they might never be active again anyhow so I can just check out whatever the other members are up to

yes tbh a couple of times. I have to like everyone in the group for me to stan. Most of the time the reason I don't like this person in the group is because of their personality. The ones that are too full of themselves on purpose and not as a joke is so off putting

Nope, I just dont pay attention to them and focus on all the other members I like if I like the other members and their music that much. Its kind of awkward though, esp if you interact with other fans.
