It's just how society has progressed though. With the discovery of new technology, we become immersed in them. But new technology often needs electricity and its production causes the CO2 emission.

It's not like people would suddenly stop using these technology even if those artists weren't there, even if those songs didn't exist or that they weren't streamed as much.

interesting that i haven't seen such articles written about ariana grande, ed sheeran or justin bieber who have much more streams and monthly listeners than both of these groups
