Do you find it embarassing when kpop/kdrama fans do the bowing when it's not part of their culture?

What's the difference btw a nod and a shy bowing
-
Ummm idk
I am not Korean, so I don't fully understand/recognize the importance of how bowing is in their culture.
So I don't think that I have a say if in this case, it is mockery or some sign of disrespect to their culture.
But we should always be wanting to expand our knowledge and acceptance to cultures different than our own.

Depends on context.

Depends on the situation. If it’s between non Koreans/Asians and/or no one has any real connections to bowing then yeah it can be cringe but there’s nothing really bad about it unless they’re deliberately being offensive about it
But if it’s with a asian person or in a country in Asia then sure why not? It’s a sight of respect and integration.

Dumb question. The answer is no it's a good thing people want to learn and use it. This would be like someone saying is it embarrassing that asians learn handshakes and American greetings? No that would a retarded question same as this stupid thread.
