I thought it was common practice in asia for some search engines or social media to do business with certain people to bring down damaging hot topics and the like -- paid suppression as a service.

I'm sure I'm missing a lot but especially in china its obvious that there is some kind of suppression by major powers, paid or not.

Hmmmm.... How many big3 idols have fallen into big bullying scandals like these mentioned? Genuine question because i can't remember.
I don't think any of them have. T-ara and April are quite different from most of them because they involve the group members bullying other members. Some big 3 idols had school bullying scandals, but none were like Soojin with it involving an actress and someone like the victim's sister continually pushing it.

I remember Taeyong’s the most because it was a couple of times? I think. Even Irene’s case was not as bashed as Soojin’s. From JYP, I remember Hyunjin’s. I only remember these ones because people discussed it here on akp and I kinda like their visuals so I remember lol.
