The lyrics still make no sense to me but the beat is awesome and the choreo is pretty cool & kinda dif from what we used to see this year.

It's about female empowerment. Pirate wasn't the literal concept, the concept was "girls can do everything even be a pirate" which when u think of pirates, they're usually men. I love it
