Do you like it when idols sing in English?

  • If the song is good ofc

I hate english ver of songs that are originally in korean though, it almost never flow well

mx and bp songs in english are top tier also wayv love talk in eng >>>

  • Depends on the song, but generally im so used to korean that i rather hear korean than accented english.

But i am pretty happy when i find an english song that actually hits every mark. This is a great example of a korean artist doing English justice. Seems like Woodz voice gets a bit higher when he sings in english as well or it might just be a bit of accent (tho i think hes fluent in english).

Also you can really tell the song was made for english. The problem with alot of kpop songs that have english versions is the songs beat and lyric pattern were typically made with korean in mind, switching to english just makes the song sound off.

oh I enjoyed that Woodz song. :)

But yes, the beat and lyric patterns often get messed up or you'll notice wrong emphasis on certain syllables or words weirdly divided in ways native speakers wouldn't do and it'll throw me off

  • depends on the idol but usually yes.

i adore harry styles so i listen to his music often, but Falling always had a special hold on me, so when this came out, i was BESIDE MYSELF. ECSTATIC. i literally listen to it more than the original now. there's just something about it...

  • Depends on the song tho. I mean if it's MONSTA X than for sure, but most other groups are a hit/miss since in many groups people just fail to properly pronounce things even if at least 1 member is good in English and yes that even includes my ulti group, since they have 3 English songs and only 1 member can speak English

  • Obviously

Usually I don't except for Chaeyoung lines, but The Feels corrected this... a mystery allure for sure

  • Nayeon is the cutest. If I stanned Twice, she would be my bias
