no. Every single kpop company puts importance on looks first and foremost. Hybe is not exempt.
Like any good kpop company they are good at identifying talents and nurturing them.
They also have good producers. Choreographers etc.
Its not the idols producing the music with very few exceptions(ex suga)
So hybe 100 percent cares about looks. Pretty sells. Why would hybe not want to sell?

Companies aren't exactly asking idols to produce music or be amazing vocals.
Companies look first and foremost for visual. And if an idol is not up to visual standard they get ps.
They can always train the idol to be what they need.
