JYPe fails to give Twice a normal release schedule and instead milks the fans with two releases back-to-back, and doesn't promote them past music shows in Korea, at least from my perspective as a casual listener.
Also their sound change is not what South Korea thinks of when they think of the group, so TWICE's producers either have to find a happy medium or go back to cute (which I highly doubt they will do).

I don't think it has anything to do with a push westward. Its almost like you guys are new to groups. Whether they are a BG or GG, as groups who did cute concepts get older, they tend to go away from them. 24 year olds don't want to be doing aegyo and touching their cheek like a doll their whole career. The girls/boys get older and they want to explore other sides like sexy/darker concepts/sounds.

well for M&M its the first time they've released an English version of a song and their promo on Late show with Stephen Colbert seems to be going a westward direction...
Oh I didn't mean their westward push is causing them to go mature...the other way around...they are moving towards less cute more mature and having a westward push as well
