They're annoying to me personally "X 2nd gen group paved the way for your favs!" literally no one asked. They they talk shit about "X 2nd gen group was way better than 3rd/4th group you guys are tasteless". They sound like boomers missing the old days, just stfu and enjoy what we have now, which is great music and amazing, hard working groups.

I don't think it's a matter of 2nd gen stans being salty about 3rd gen because in all honesty, we're glad K-Pop is going global and is getting more fans/appreciation/money than ever. The thing is that most people who joined K-Pop with the 3rd generation groups are kinda sorta maybe disrespectful about the 2nd gen as in they often claim they had no merits and no achievements. Ok, maybe true, but they are still the idols your 3rd gen faves have seen on TV and then said 'I want to be just like that.' Not to mention 2nd gen K-Pop was amazing in terms of music quality.

Thats not always the case and you know it some people just can't handle the fact that the limelight has shifted to newer artists

I wouldn't say it's all there is to it though. The 3rd Gen3/4th Gen discourse unfortunately doesn't need 2nd Gen stans to exist.

You arent right. Also, I dont understand how you all see things 2nd generation says as saltiness..... Like the point of every talk between different generations arent the things you see at all. It seems like we talk 2 completelly different languages.

I see different stuff going. If a 2g group gets brought it's brushed aside by 3g/4g stans as irrelevant, old or nugu so 2g fans get a bit defensive about it.
