It's because 3rd gen stans know that once 4th gen starts to speed up their faves will start declining little by little just like with 3rd gen groups with 2nd gen.

3rd gen got a boost due to the international boom and are increasing their physical sales and international stats. They aren't going anywhere unless the groups disband.

4th gen is very lacking. They don't have hits, their international stats r still below 3rd gen big time. Only thing they can do is sell more and that's thanks to kpop exposure more than anything to do with them.

A lot of the incidents and fights that happened in Kpop in the past are happening again. The previous gen fans that once were new-gen fans (back then) are restoring the hateful cycle that they once complained about.

Exactly, multiple rookie groups debuted during the pandemic and still sold well, grew their fanbases and e.t.c., Once we're out of this pandemic, I wonder just how bigger they'll get once they're able to perform on stages and promote without the pandemic
