What did you think of aespa's performance on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade?

I was happy with it! Generally the performances aren't long so that was expected. It was pretty cool for my favorite gg to perform at the parade since I've been watching it every year since I was a kid.

I loved that their float is a symbol for women in STEM , it make the perfromance even more special

as one person said: I thought Mnet had the worst camera work.....but at least this is understandable

what matters is that the girls have gained more interest in the international arena.

This is their first ever overseas activity cmiiw, not to mention this was not a normal concert but a parade so it was definitely a moment and experience for them to remember, what important is that they are having a blast there, having their best time in NY..

it was a bit awkward, just the set up. Not much stage space, their styling didn't really match with the float(?) or the dancers on the floor.

They did well but the overall set up wasn't a great match.

It was a bit lacklustre, but it’s a weird set up for a performance and wow, they must have been freeezing! I’m really glad they got the opportunity though and I’m pleased for them so many fans showed out for them in particular.

the kameraman clearly have an bias. only showing one of the girls even if shes not singing. lol.

lipsync is one thing i dont want to complain but they couldnt even say hallo or thank u afterwards... cause their mics arent turned on. i think that was a little bit awkward and lacklustre especially since we all know they can do well.

I personally found it a bit underwhelming tbh. They seemed to a bit awkward in front of a big crowd and being there.

It was meh. Nothing outstanding or special. Cameraman liked Winter tho

It’s ok for their first debut in a parade lol. But I wish some thought goes into getting aespa’s concept in line with the float - which is advocating science, technology, engineering, maths for women.. Make it more meaningful because savage can be use as an expression of empowerment for women.

i agree the excecution a bit underwhelming, the song choice is not helping that causing aespa getting backlash from SJWs.

Understandable that aespa can't fully performed of their capacity since the weather is cold, the outfits doen't suit, the float have small space, etc ect.

Well, at least the girls having fun and they are meeting mys the second time.

The entire this is just weird imo.

1. SM sending a group half way across the earth, so they can do half of savage on a tiny platform on a float.

2. Its like 50 out, everyone is bundled up, then you have these KPOP stars dolled up performing.

Im sure they had fun + got to travel to NYC. Its just all a little strange and disjointed
