Will Army finally give up now on BTS becoming legends in America?

This post is so dumb because winning a Grammy is not the criteria for being a music legend in America. Or else, acts like Jimi Hendrix, Queen, Tupac, Bjork etc would not be considered legends (spoiler alert: all of them are).

I mean, if your criteria is winning a Grammy = legend, someone like Meghan Trainor or Alessia Cara is more legendary than any of the other acts I named. Which is hilarious and also dead wrong.

Not that I think BTS are necessarily legends already (at least in the U.S., I think maybe they need more longevity) but at the end of the day, the Grammys are just another award show. Just because it's the most famous one doesn't make it any more important than people believe it is.

So getting referenced and having snippets of one of your songs being played a few times on american tv, means you’ll be remembered as a legend in 20 years from now? If so, then a lot of people could be categorized as "legends".

I can tell you something, in US pop culture, no one can sell out a stadium as fast as BTS. And only a handful probably can sell out a stadium seating 70k ppl.
