Definitely not. Most companies have VERY and i mean VERY favorable language for the company. There are probably clauses that have broad language that allows companies to end contracts if the idol "tarnishes the image of group or company", which could literally mean any scandal or a small thing.
Its done. In this day and age, its very easy to keep idols EVEN IF rumors are true (look at Lia, SKZ guy, Taeyong etc). Irene was literally being mean for years DURING her idols days, and she's still in her group.
I think Soojin got kicked for lying because CUBE did come to her defense, only for the scandal to get worse and blow up in her face. Its very easy now, to just apologize, take a hiatus and comeback. -

Soojin didn't get kicked out, she didn't get terminated. She's still in Cube. Her legal battle against her accusers is ongoing. It just takes time.

as far as i know soojin belongs to cube but is solo. I think they wanted to get rid of her. or plans to come back as a soloist who knows. but the fact that this scandal was not even real and not supported by any evidence whatsoever, and soojin was kicked out. it's not that cube couldn't save her. look at Seo Ye ji, she got out of it.

Bruh, this is a common practice in my country. Even if it was bullshit, i was playing devil‘s advocate and it is definitely possible because I know some friends who got out of tricky contracts due to this

I guess the police investigation concluded and there is no evidence that the accuser lied.
It does not prove that is was true, but there is enough there so Cube can't sue the accuser.

I would be very shocked if there wasn’t a clause in her contract that allowed them to terminate for just this reason (police investigation, guilty, whatevs)..
