is it too late for twice solo careers?

had korea lost their interest in snsd?

Anyway I don't think it's late but whether or not their solo careers will be successful remains to be seen, especially since they didn't have the advantage of having solo activities for most of their career unlike BLACKPINK and Red Velvet.

That's a totally different case, she was still having solo activities during SNSD's run + the general public were still pretty invested in SNSD, not to the extent as before but they were still pretty popular, Mr.Mr literally went #@@@2dd9d0c6-26d6-4dfe-abcd-c7f8a84d4d14@@@ on Gaon in their 8th year.
Not to mention Lionheart got like 12 music show wins.
I think any Twice solo would do well, but it might not be a hit per say

Not to late but it's going to be harder to cement themselves individually without an existing background. Like it's going to harder to get acting rules if you've never acted before while other more experienced idols are are further in line to be considered for roles.
But that was just for her solo music. Before that, from pretty much debut, she was already having activities ranging from OSTs, TV shows and radio. That made her solo debut all the more highly anticipated for 8 years

I mean you could probably argue the individual members of Twice have had solo opportunities too if you look at each members' schedules over the past 8 years. I think the main difference is the talent. Taeyeon is just one of the best girl group vocalists of all time, so people wanted to hear her voice only and she debuted STRONG. Twice have never been known for their vocals, in fact they're often dragged for it, so the public would kinda have low expectations and not really care as much. I still think enough ONCEs would support any member going solo.

With Onces support and the support of akgaes of each member, i think every solo would be a success financially.

Imo, Jyp/jype messed up and waited too long lol The longer they wait, the harder it will be for them to do solo work because they’re not known individually but only as a group. Heck, they only started doing subunits this album. We also have to take in account that not all of the members have “it” to go solo. Twice’s strongest vocalists who are stable with enough range are honestly just Nayeon, Jihyo, and Jeongyeon.
