Do you think back to back releases to kr and jpn will help a group?

If the fans act rational and only buy one copy of each there wouldn't be a problem, but alas they don't and go buy dozens of each release.

I don't think it matters much. Twice's kr numbers have been consistent for the past few years whether they were near jp releases or not.

there is definitely room to space out the releases a bit more.. it makes every release feel less special if you know in 2 weeks its already the next song

I dont care, Twice will just smash records just with sheer BOPs without any fandom mass streaming regardless of how many releases they put out within short amount of time

Even in BOPs and FLOPs threads, I know people are setting higher standard for Twice's songs more than their own faves (LMAO, SAD LIFE) but in the end quality wins, justice has been served. THE FEELS IS OMEGA BOP THAT EVERYONE LOVES

It's not working out so well for Twice

I am on the fence... I'll stream all the three releases (Twice kr & jpn + wannabe jpn) but I wish the company would let the girls rest! I know everyone works their asses off but idols are not commoners, they are celebreties.

I don't think the issue is really burnout, as we never know when they acctually film or do that stuff and usually that stuff is all done month prior the release.. but its just that they can't promote any release properly and everything is swept away quickly

General rule of thumb - if a company does something that's smart others will start copying.

Companies have taken from some aspects of Twice but none have followed Twice's release pattern. Even JYPE's own groups don't do it, Itzy sparsely release relative to early Twice. Nizi are a Japanese group and a quick look at their wiki says they'll release 3 physicals this year, which is the same amount of Japanese physicals Twice will release this year despite Nizi having stronger selling power and Twice having Korean and now English releases as well.

JYPE and Warner treat Twice in Japan and Twice elsewhere as separate entities.

honestly JYP has no soul. It's no wonder Jeongyeon and Mina ended up having difficulties and yet still he doesn't even given them a proper opportunity to relax between comebacks. Nor does he give then individual chances to promote. An truly annoying guy.
