Nekkoya, to me, definitely captured the essence of a song of an aspiring idol. It had an eager, "I want to be an idol!" to it (and of course, center Sakura ). Pick Me is probably the most memorable one to most people but that song itself has little to zero replay value IMO and some of the parts can be a bit annoying . Brownie points for the three different centers in O.O.O, was a cute idea.

Nekkoya for me, but I have a soft spot for the chinese produce 101 theme

I know you're talking about Korean PD101 but this one is still under CJ so..

honestly i prefer season 1 . i watch it almost live as soon as engsub available and still follow jo1.
i tried season 2 a couple of times but never finish even ep 1 coz the online/quarantine aspect kinda bring my mood down and makes me confused coz alot of them eliminated before even ep1 .
