aespa 'Forever' vs. Purple K!SS 'Can We Talk Again' - which rookie GG did better?

This is 100 percent subjective, personally I preferred Forever

both did a really good job

Aespa vocals was expected, I knew they would sound great

and as for Purple Kiss I was very much impressed

I prefered Purple kiss release but both group did good, i liked Forever too.

Forever was a better song. But the one thing i noticed (first time watching the video) was how much center time Winter got, even though Karina is supposed to be the center. SM might be trying to capitalize on the Winter hype but i foresee potential for some bad akgae wars within the fandom.

the vocalists of purple kiss sounds much more polished to me. ningning and and winter's parts in 'forever' are really good, but purple kiss vocal skills surpasses them because their pitch accuracy, as well as their riffs and runs are better. as someone who's a vocal student, it's easy for me to see that their skills are indeed very rich and mature. please don't only read certain parts of my comment that you don't like and interpret it in a way that i'm putting them against each other. if we're talking about vocal skills here i'm just simply speaking objectively on which vocals are more refined even though both groups vocalists are very impressive because i've been put on hard singing lessons since i was ten (now i'm 19).

purple kiss is INSANE. sorry, but they did way better.

I prefer Purple Kiss. Their vocals do sound more mature. The song is a bop too.

Aespa did great but i still feel like they haven't really show what they can do in Forever.

'Can We Talk Again?' easily, it is an original song and in my opinion one of the best K-pop song released this year. Forever was decent in showcasing their vocals but the song is boring and not for me. Also Swan, Chaein and Goeun sound way more polished (+Yuki's rapping!) as a user mentioned than Ning Ning, Karina, Giselle(love her voice) & Winter. Both groups are great with immense potential and I can't wait to see what they do in the future(in 5 days for Purple Kiss).

Purple Kiss has a better song. As a group, aespa is more consistent with the vocals. EVERYONE CAN SING!

They are both in my top 3 GGs at the moment, so my opinion is completely unbiased.

They both are amazing, Aespa was everything I expected from SM - but Purple Kiss really suprised and blew me away - in the best way possible.

I hope to see amazing things from both groups in the future - as of right now it's impossible for me to decide which one I liked better. I have to wait to see what they both bring to the table before I can accurately make a statement like that.
