Absolutely fucking ridiculous. Vivid Seats and Stub Hub have put resale ticket prices for floor over $10,000.

Sadly, most things involving the western music industry is fraught with shady tactics and rackets. In this case, it's the monopoly that Ticketmaster has on concerts here in the US. Unless the govt. gets involved, there's very little that can be done.

Yeah I hope so. In 2018 the tour was sold by two different ticket sale companies in my country but with the monopoly of ticket master the other agency stepped down. It makes me mad because ticket master is like the capitalism at its finest and the other agency was much better (scalpers were a problem but they regulated it heavily and do a lot of anti-scalper actions).

I think that BTS is such a huge force in the touring world that they could easily change the ordering process for their tour. They could use ticketmaster as an API but they are integrated in Weverse and must go through some authentication process. This would help againsy scalpers who buy 100 tickets to resell
